also you siad something eairlier in the conversation about a dms4 site that was down where i could get a better d\l of the toxic mirrior but thhe site was down...? can nyou direct me to thhat one and maybe we wont hhave so many pireted problems...

I just got a Matrix Infinity. Flashing is simple. You a got a .elf file? I think you should get a .bin file and .cue when you extract it. If you got a .elf file, something is awry. You extract the rar file and you should get a .bin and .cue file. Flashes DMS 4 Pro: http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7138
DMS 4 Lite: http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7140 Directions: Once the image is unzipped, right click the cue file and go to image burning wizard. Set the write speed to 4x, the write method to DAO/SAO, the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next. I did this with my Matrix Infinity, burned it correctly on the first try, should work the same for you.

ok whhen i d\l the toxic file i go back to the file and extract the file and should get a bin and cue file? hhow do i unzip thhe toxic i guess is what im asking?

k im burning the cue...but its at 8x cuz thats thhe slowest speed k master tokijin...should thhe cue file only be 1kb big? wwhhy is the bin so big abd why dont you use it?

It actually does burn the bin the file, it's just you load the cue file into Alcohol. The cue file contains info which tells your burning software how to handle it. Hopefully 8x is slow enough. Stop calling me master lol.

all i get i sthe stupid red screen of death...then it says it cant open the toxic file because windows needs to find out ,ore info on thhe creator of the program....how about you send me a disk in thhe mail....whhat should i do

Crap set the datatype to Playstation, not PS2. My bad. Aside from that it should work. 8x is a little fast. What kind of CD-R's are you using?

In Alcohol 120%, in the bottom left corner where it says "data type." Set it to Playstation. Then try again. I flashed my chip like this and it worked fine.

it gets like half way thhrough burning it and then it says it can open the bin/cue file because windows doesnt know who the creator of te program is...what shhould i do now?

i think so hhoww do i do it from thhe dms4 screen? step by step...ok i open thhe file and then it d/l's...do i run it or save it? and then i extract the files? or...?

You click save. Once it's done downloading, you click right click it and hit unzip or extract. That should give you a bin and a cue file. Then you just proceed as I described.

windows xp...and i just got alochol 120 today...it goes to copy everythong but thhen it stops and says it cant copy the cue file because it cant open it since it doesnt know the publisher...i wonder if i habe a certain fire wall up or something?

No. Are you right clicking the cue file in Alcohol and clicking on burning wizard? Open Alcohol. You have to go to file open, browse to the cue file and double click it. Once you see it under "name" in Alcohol, right click the cue file and burn it as I instructed.

ok i did it like you said and it worked fine...but when i put it in the ps2 it said no data then i got the screen of deathh...its like it isnt burning it to thhe cd cuz you cant see any data on the othher side of thhe cd...

Are burning it in test mode? Make sure it's in write mode. Put the CD you burned in your computer and see if the files you burned are present.

That should be right. Did you download the correct Bios? The Toxic OS is for the DMS 4 Pro, the Toxic bios are for the DMS 4 lite.
