i've had the same problem i just re configured my cpu and that was that cause dvd shrink frose on me 2

May I ask what exactly is the problem here... U reconfigured and re installed the program.... Is it working for you now???

Mate knofused did not want anything with your specs personally... when we ask that question is because usually that when a PC frezzes it's gott to do with the users resources...
Please dont take it the wrong way... The other reason is cause DVD Shrink takes up to 100% of your CPU usage and thats the same for everyone... Thats Y Konfused asked that wuestion...
so yea if it's frezzing it might have to do with the specs and resources have...
Thats why we ask...

This is uncalled for, if you've read any of the other posts around aD, asking for system specs is just the norm. We're not here to steal your info. We're here to help each other out as borhan9 explained. I'll be forwarding your post to one of the moderators.

My system specs are posted in my sig line... oops, now all the spys/hackers/aliens will know what i use.. Can you say paranoid?? We should have known by the way the question was eluded to in the original posting.. lol. Really, the only reason someone here asks for system specs or error logs is to help the poster fix his/her/it's problem.. thats all. At least on my part and any most others from what i can tell. No need to bite someones head off when all they are trying to do is help you.
@Konfused1 That's the way to handle this kind of thing. Don't let this stop you from trying to help people.

aawlittle - so you have a problem and you come here for an answer, but then when knowledgable people try to help you, you act like a total asshole?? does that make any sense at all to you? people post their system specs all the time, or even have them in their sigs, it's not like anyone is asking for your IP address or anything so there's no way anyone could do anything at all to you or your system just by knowing what kind of system you are running. You really need to get a handle on your anger before we remove you from this forum. i seriously doubt anyone will try to help you with that kind of attitude. say you are having a problem with your car so you call a mechanic and say 'hey my car makes a funny noise when i turn left" and the mechanic says "ok sir what kind of car do you have?" and you fire back with "i'm not going to tell you what kind of car i have you twat" do you really think the mechanic will be able or even willing to help you at that point? use some common sense, and try a little courtesy, and you might just get these good people to help you figure out your problem.

Thanks for the support guys, and no, I will not let this incident deter me from helping others here @ aD. I'm sure this isn't the first (or even the last) time something like this has happened. Just wasn't my day. Anyway, I will be a little more cautious next time I ask for pertinent information.
