Ide like to see more earth levels in halo 3 with hoardes of screaming civilians. It would be nice to see what people wear in the year 2552 :P

Yeah that would be cool to see humans run.(funny actually) but for the halo 2 teaser when was the brutes able to jump on wart hogs and that level is not on halo 2 so thats gots to be one of the level on halo 3 because that shits looks off the chain. And when was the battle rifle a singe shot. I haven't been up here in a while my bad if i'm behind.

Well actually that level of the teaser with the brutes jumping on the warthogs is really in Halo 2. (Im tired of explaining this over and over on every halo thread that pops up) most of the levels from the original teaser trailers are in halo 2 only that theyve been completely remodified. If you look at the trailer and play outskirts youll notice that the dialoque is still kept the same only everythings been remodified from the original script.
Thats not all
If you recall, way back to the first teaser of halo2 which shows master chief being sucked in a vacumn, that was also added to the game only it was slightly modified by adding in a bomb, where as the teaser master chief has no bomb. (If only I had a copy of the original script)
The original:
in the original Halo2 script which have been constantly posted in every halo thread in the past Halo2 was suppose to end the series. In the original script there was no arbiter, and the levels were slightly different. But much of the script is in Halo 2 only like I said it is completely changed.
THE TWIST...
in the original script there was a shocking twist that wasnt put into the game (so they left it off with a cliffhanger at the end). The twist was that as Master chief was on a Halo preventing it from being activated he went to the control room where he encounters a group of prophets. These prophets told the master chief about the forrunners and the origin of the rings. They also revealed to the Master Chief a hologram image of the forrunners...to Master chiefs suprise he sees that the forrunners are HUMANS. The hologram shows an advance human civillization hundreds of years in the future.
TIME TRAVEL
afterterwards, cortana does a little bit of research as the master chief asks her how its possible that humans created the halos if we dont even have the technology for that. Cortana then responds by telling him that even though we may not have the technology we might someday. Cortana then comes to the conclusion that in the future the human race created the halos and sent them to the past in order for us to use them.
I know time travel may be a bit confusing but I got to admit "this is one hell of a twist" and Im guessing since this was part of the original script but was never added to Halo 2 it most likely will be added to Halo 3.

that would be great if they can make it 50 - 62 players, cause then there can be clans with more than just 8 ppl(has to be 8 to be fair) so we can now have like 25 plaers per clan.

no i havnt. i dont own halo 2, just play it at friends mostly online. i own halo tho but it got repetative so i stopped playing, but ive started up again.

i have a realy good halo 3 idea. I would like to get the power and the thoughts of all of you. I think its realy good but ... it is mine and i was wondering if all of you could look at it point things out and say hey i think this would be better ifand stuff like that. We are the players of halo right why not be at least a littler helpers that make halo if we all join up and made a kick ass halo idea. and sent edited it made it kick ass and sent it to evey halo chat out there. and to bungie or what ever you can think this is dumb this coming from a PS2 guy but i like halo and if i can help it in any way i will... Will You???

Yeh thats sounds pretty cool.
Haha LCD tv's in their clothes, technology will probably get to that stage, people wont be able to go 5 minuest without staring at a screen. :D
I know Ive heard that script a million times (master chief confronting prohpets and fining out forerunners are humans), all from different sources, but I assume bungie wrote it in the first place (correct me if im wrong which i probably am). Does this means that it's true, they just didnt put it in the game?

Hello everyone? My first posting to this ?little? thread and on Afterdawn, so treat me gently...ish!
For my penny?s worth: While there are assumptions and very good ideas being banded about on this (and every other Halo) forum, surely Bungie would take on board ideas that have been mentioned from experienced players and the like for Halo 3. I for one actually found that the story of Halo 1 being brilliant, Bungie?s storyline for Halo 2 was a little contrived.
I hope they use the insight (or foresight, depending on your point of view) to take some ideas from them gents who wrote the Halo books - okay, for me, Eric Nylund over William Dietz but? - they are using Peter Jackson for the Halo Film who ?gets? the pathos, but know doubt he would certainly influence the story somewhat. Therefore, some outside creativity should be applied to the third game, too.
But we all know that Bungie is not saying anything. Shame, and pointless, for they whet our appetite for the film, why can?t they just come clean and let us know what they are planning for Halo 3. Yes, even just planning?. (Slaps head in frustration?)

well i dont think bunjie should revele what they are planning for halo 3, cause if they do then that would just ruin the game, cause we would already know what would happen while we are playing through the game.
and ppl might not wnt to buy halo 3 first cause the curiosity has been feed with info. so ya. i would rather wait for the game to be released then rather wait for bunjie to say whats gonna be in it.

first off i dont care how good the server is there is no way bungie will have a 50player match with NO lag. they cant even give us a 16 player match lagless. of course xbl and bungie servers will have gone thru drastic changes and improvments but i cant see a 50 player lagless match.
T4spartan's TWIST sounds cool and i think it is quite a possibility. altho i have never agreed with these time travel theories i think this one would work the best.
Bungie is doin great on wat they tel us and wat they dont. they shouldnt change a thing. i mean come on, look wat they have us guessing.
I would like the Arbitor to die in Halo 3 but not MC. :P

i am still sticking to my theory about halo 3. they wont release any info about release dates
or plans because they want to sell as many 360's over xmas as possible, and if fanboys didnt
think there was gunna be a new halo then they may not get the 360 since the fact is their
only fave game wont be out. they will tell us after februray, or maybe not at all, but its a way
to make money without lying. microshaft has no ethics

yea they will be able to play with each other. with the backwards compatable games if ur on 360 itll be no dif then on the xbox besides the consol and controller u r using. at least i dont think itll be dif.

T4Spartan has the right idea on the storyline...I think...and maybe the movie will reflect it too.
As for supporting 54 or 60 players with no lag...I doubt it. It all comes down to bandwidth and the fact that bungie doesn't use dedicated servers, if the did, all your bridging would never happen.
As for cool things to be included in Halo 3, my friends and I thought that being able to lie down, say with the sniper, would be a great addition. You can take cover and be invisible to radar.
Another idea we had came from the marine on the waiting screen on Live, the one lying down with the scope. We were thinking of a seperate item/weapon exclusive to multiplayer, that was in a sense a laser targeter. That way, a player half the map away, could laser target an opponent, and his teammates sniper round would hit from anywhere (withing reason and capabilities of autoaim function)
Other than that I think the campaign should be more enriched so it had better replay value.
More urban levels like Turf.
Maybe unlockable multiplayer characters, say if you beat the game on Legendary, you can run around on Xbox Live as Cortana or a Brute.
The possabilities are endless, and expect this game to launch the same week as the PS3!!
