Yeah, I did notice that btw. How am I being "an ass"? I have an opinion like you, should I withhold them just because you don't agree with them? The answer is no.
What do you mean that the release dates are the main focus of this thread? Have you actually looked back further than one page? Obviously not.
I'm not entirely sure what forums/thread's you go on, but they must be really immersive to have the topic of conversation to switch every page.
P.S It would have been good if you were trying to start a conversation about game play enhancements, I think that would have been a good topic to discuss. lol. Sorry for any offence, I just state my opinions, after all that is what these threads are about. I don't have to conform to every discussion, basically because if i did that then there wouldn?t be a discussion.

And by the way...that "prediction" thing...since you clearly didn't notice, was dripping with sarcasm. Sorry to burst your bubble too, but I guess that evens it out, huh? Now, back to the other discussion, most snipers don't "dive into the action" anyway, so do you not think it would be pretty much the same for them, except it gives them a little more opportunity to hide, as a real sniper poster in hostile territory would? Or would it give them too much advantage? i mean, this game is all about balance, so i guess it needs to be thought through really....opinion?

I said you were being an ass b/c of the general rudeness of your first reply, but I really don't care to argue with you. I have looked back more than one page, but you'll notice this subject has lasted a few days and gone nowhere, so let's drop the bullshit and discuss the game. I think niether of us meant any serious offense to the other...I do want to know what you think about my sniping statements.

lol! Dont take everything I said literally, I would have to be insane to think that you were being serious about the prediction thing.
Anyways all that aside.
I do "in theory" think that the sniper idea is a good one. However in practise I dont. As I have said it will remove the pace of the game because people will just sit around for ages clearing up the enemies.
P.S I think calling someone an ass is more offensive than what I said.

I apologize. I suppose you're right...considering what a pain snipers can be already.... here's another thought i had....Do you think it's possible they could allow melees without dropping a dual, maybe a double melee combo of sorts, and still keep a balance with players wielding single guns? perhaps even keep the melee to a single attack, but keep the left gun?

Do you mean, keep both weapons while performing a melee attack?

i think halo is just a hype. i mean sure it was a nice game but is it really worth all you say? i mean willing to pay 80 dollars for a game? that is stupid. anyone getting a 360 now or soon is a dumba$$. they stated that in spring updates such as hd dvd will be added. i suggest waiting till the ps3 has been out for 3 months, they getting what you want. i believe there may be a battle bewteen to two for updates.
i will get the ps3, because looking at the technical stats that matter, and not comp[aring them unfairly, it will be the most powerful system.
as for halo 3. i dont believe it will come out soon, if at all. with the movie in the making i dont think they will have the time.

and the shortages, i believe them to be microsoft lacking becaus the 360 is unfinished and expensive to make. 360 cost about $800 to make.
(pardon my talk of the systems, the forum i talked in about it was closed)

In your opinion I guess so.

The Halo movie is being made by people other than Bungie emplyee's, so it wouldnt affect the develepment of Halo 3. Also there has to be a Halo 3 otherwise Halo 2 would be pointless.

Yes, papa...I don't see the need to drop one, provided that the attcks are still balanced when you melee.

Microsoft is making about $150 dollars loss on every system. Not because it's unfinished but because they make their money from licensing and games. At least now they are giving the developers a good platform to work on so they can ultimately release a higher volume of sales. Overall making more money.

@ Deadshot
Good point, but is it literally possible to perform a melee attack while holding two things. I'm not sure. Try it yourself. I would be good if people didnt believe in realism though.

@papa_face...I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, since the dual weapons all use single handed attacks...why drop your other weapon? The smg is an exception, as both hands are used for the attack, but all the other dual weaponsuse a basic pistol whip-style attack

Oh right I understand what you mean. I suppose that is possible. I cant remember but isn't the melee button (B) already occupied in duel weild mode, to be able to melee attack.

I suppose its phesable then. Not much more I can say on that, I cant see why that wouldn't be a good opinion for Bungie to incorporate.

Yes it is compatible, apart from some glitches with invisble walls, that actually show up on the screen, like the haze from the sunlight shining on your screen.
I think this is only on the minority of the consoles that have been sold.
Here is the list of compatible games http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

Yes I'm on here a lot. Hence all my posts. If you mean on here that is. If you mean Best Buy, then no.
Don't fall for the early orders of Halo 3, because it hasnt even been announced yet.
P.S Also I believe that Best Buy are no longer taking pre-orders.
