alright, no-body knows the release date, but when we do it will be ALL OVER this forum, you dont need to keep asking that question because we are all asking the exact same question... i say somewhere around the ps3 release, others disagree... its imposible to put a date on it yet, we just have to wait till bungie tells us. so please stop asking.

after halo 3 i doubt there will be much more story to go off that wont seem too different or boring. when it comes to series, people dont like to see much change.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

ohohohohoh this just occored to me, you know the dudes in space in halo 2 with the jetpacks... well masterchief+jetpack= SUPER FUN FLYING DEATH TIME! but seriously if they added the jetpack as a vehicleish thing... that would kick ASS... and add it with the ATV and that black ship thing from halo 1.. and the pelican... and that giant spider thing... then ill b a happy man. Oh and please give me a level where i can hack a/the sentinal(s) to controll on my own hehe... omg but like midspace level with a jetpack and the outside of a spaceship with minor gravity... that sounds tasty.
oh and of course destructible environments. red faction style.
does anyone know if the new inbetween book has come out?
because there was:
the book "the fall of reach" (sets up the entire halo story)
the game HALO 1: CE (which was written as a book later "the flood")
then the book "first strike" (ties first game to the second)
the game HALO 2 (is there a book written about halo 2 yet?)
and their should be another book here... is it out yet?... it should tie us from halo 2 to halo 3 like "first strike" did for 1-to-2.
i found the books incredibly interesting, and made halo 2's storyline that much better (i.e. how master chief got from chillen out in space by himself at the end of halo 1, to being in the halo 2 start scene)
if anyone knows any info about more books let me know!

We here at this forum arent stangers to the books and ur book logic along with the games is or should be common knowledge to the hardcore and dedicated fans to the storyline also the video u posted is a good example of GO BACK AND READ THE FORUM BEFORE POSTING or at least click all the links. Is that the 3rd or 4th time weve seen that guys? anyone?

That would be the logical place to show it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's unveiled a little earlier, possibly at the GDC. Sony shows the PS3 and impresses a lot of people, then, out of nowhere MS shows an amazing trailer for Halo 3 and steals the PS3's thunder. Unlikely scenario, I know, but it could happen.

well if that happened, i doubt it would be attracting many people for too long, especially if its during the ps3 keynote. people know about halo and whats its gunna be like, but the ps3 is a big ball of mystery.

this is really random, but they should add a multiplayer game where it's basically tag in vehicles. i do this with friends when we get really bored (so like once maybe) and its pretty entertaining.

haha oops, i did read pretty far back, but there are alot of pages man. plus im on dial up and so i couldn't even of watched the video myself to see if it looked lagit. plus that whole book thing just recently occored to me. i had no idea. so yea! haha lets just hope halo 3 comes with alot of playability so it will last me till the next big thing. i was done with halo 2 in like 3 weeks (no x-box live). maybe if it came with a patch to play halo 1 online. that would be sweet. or even a second halo 1 release with live capabilities. not as big of a fan of 2 as i am of 1 (id pay for live with halo 1).

im ok its just its pretty annoying when someone likes check this trailer out and your thinking cool this might actually be IT but when its the same trailer you saw lik 6 times and just another noob submittin it it gets on your nerve. I use to play on Halo CE wit my friends and i warthog wars. we both get into the hogs and ram eachother and u can only kill the opponent who falls out of the hog. lol i use to grab a rocket launcher and when i got knocked out i blow my friend to hell lol good times

i've been trying to gather info from bungies "weekly update" but those things are soooo vaugue. pretty much it says the next progect is under way, and its turning out realllly well, and the light system with the main character looks aweosme... and there will be trees lol... and thats pretty much it... oh yeah it said there is a title for the next book, and they arn't telling us. thanks for the update bungie :).

oh and they said "if we learned anything from halo/halo 2, its that we should document EVERYTHING, so thats what we've been doing in the next project" so its pretty safe to say the next project is halo 3, but we all presumed that anyways.

Off topic but anyway i was wondering how did the black guy, johnson i think it is get off the first halo, the extra movie clip after finishing the game in ledgey may have explaned it but yea... pass

Its not really on your top need to know list If you just call him "the Black Guy". Johnson got off halo on a pelican with some other marines and hid in some debris.

ok 1 halo2 had xbl and sure if halo3 is to be really good it should have xbl but if they make it 4 the xbox 360 only i will be highly pissed because i cant find a 360 in the stores near by i also heard they might put it on the ps3 i hope that dosent happen.

microsoft wont put halo 3 on the ps3 halo is one of the reason why people are going to buy the 360 why would micosoft give the rights to halo 3 to there biggest competitor
Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity but I am not so sure about the universe.
