i know, i was giving a reson as to why the game hasnt come out yet.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

wait a second.....lol bungie and microsoft arent waiting on anything. They arent waiting til halo2 sales figures die down either. They (Bungie) are just simply taking their good old time and are sort of slow cooking halo3 you know like chile. Till its like perfect. o and if anyone finds this interesting its another halo3 article at ign.

yeah it was short, beat it in a day or 2. halo 3 will be fun, but probably no more exciting. people will be all "omgawd it rulz" even if its not too good because they like the graphics and they are fanboys. im not saying it wont be fun but it may not be the super hit everyone thinks it is. quite a few games outsold halo, and were well outrated. i would like to see a halo like that magazine published, going back the the time of the forerunners to explain the whole series, and then go the the early days of the mc. then there could be a 4th halo game.

What you jaffing about dude? Halo 3 is gonna be much better than Halo 1 you fool. Think about it - better graphics + better longer storyline + better gameplay + better multiplayer + more features + large support xbl = A MUCH BETTER GAME THAN HALO 1 & 2. Take your groveling some place else inferior.....

Okay and can your provide hard evidence for that statement?
Atleast someone saying halo 1 beats them all, can be based on some sort of solid ground, but simply saying Halo 3 will be better when you havent even played it, yet alone have a definate answer to whether it is coming out or not.
Also if I remember rightly, people were saying exactly the same thing about Halo 2, and look how that turned out.

guys dont ou think it would be cool if on halo 3 you had all the original online maps from halo 2 and the ones on halo 1. that would be cool. aparently you will be able to make your own online levles using a levle edior smilar to the one in far cry instinks

Well, based off of evidence from Major Nelson's podcast, Podtacular has guaranteed Halo 3 will be at E3: http://podtacular.com/node/1998
To glitchzoo: it's a good idea, but it wouldn't really work. Bungie tried to make Hang 'Em High and Sidewinder for Halo 2 DLC, but they just didn't work with Halo 2 weapons and physics.
I don't really want to see too much of Halo 3 pre-release. I'd much rather be surprised. Don't show me an in-game level, just show me a vid of Halo 3's graphics. With old weapons and vehicles. On an old MP map. I want to put the H3 disc in my 360 with no expectations, and be just blown away and completely surprised by everthing. A lot of the new elements in H2 I already knew before 11/9. It would've been a lot better to discover boarding on my own, to learn about the new weapons on my own, etc.

to attenuate: o did they ... at least they tried then. but couldnt they redesign them? and aparently halo 3 will have a levle editor similar to the ones in the far cry games. so a few of us could redesign the halo 1 levles. it would be fun, wed be the first to play th "halo 1" levles onlne. i wouldnt mind re designing them in my spare time. but it would take time.
o and drluv, what are you on about. microsoft gets around 3 billion pounds a day. and arnt going to let nintendo buy it for a few quid. sony has already offered microsoft £3 million for the rights to make one halo game on the ps2 and ofcorse microsoft turned it down. so i dont think nintendo is going to buy it, they just done have enought money or what halo is worth.
percious halo is a game built for the xbox. can you imagine playing it on a ps3, it just wouldnt be right.
if a am wrong which im positive i not. whats come over microsoft!!!

accually halo was built for the macintosh, but ms saw the game and overpayed the company to buy it out. then they trashed the mac copies before its release, released it on xbox, said it was their game, and 2 years later released a mac version with lesser graphics. talk about a cruel and unusual company. its things like this that make me not like ms at all.

lol halo was made as the testing game for whilst they were making xbox 1. then 6 months later they decided to put it xbox and as you said then relese it on mac
but they were designing halo for mac at the same time as they were making the xbox, so they decided to design the xbox around the halo game

bungie was an all mac company, and halo was complete before microsoft owned bungie. microsoft enjoyed the game and knew it would be nice for their system, so they baught out bungie and basically stole the game and called it theirs. read up your news.

i head their is going to be one, read up someone mentioned it. i would like one like the level editor in timesplitters future perfect, one of my faveorite games of all time.

most of all i think they should get rid of auto aim or at least give you a choice to have it on or off or have two seperate matchmakings one for auto aim one for not auto aim.

i thought you could turn it off. atleast i thought it turned itself off in hard mode. and i think they need the whole pick your own server/host you own server thing like most pc games. that was one of halo 2's biggest let downs.

I JUST HOPE HALO 3 doesnt have 75% of the cheaters that we currently have. man think about it why cheat? so you can prove noting that your not good enough to do any good ledgit ranking? and thast not even the down side. it lags ppl and sh*t .....

ahah ha.. i used to stand-by people. it was great. the reason to cheat is to have fun usually. im pretty good at most games i play, but when the game gets too repetative its great to standby or aimbot people. its a new level of excitement. like in css it thrills me to drop an 8 man team with all headshots in 5 seconds. but i dont do that kind of thing anymore, its all in the past. i even had a clan in ut2003/4 dedicated to finding in-game exploits like hiding under the map and killing everyone to walk past.

Sorry, anubis66, but Halo was not complete before MS bought Bungie. Bungie had to work at an absolute fever pitch to get the game done in time for the Xbox launch. At E3 01, Halo was only running at 10 fps. Thankfully Bungie is good at doing excellent work when facing major time restraints and Halo was awesome.
To glitchzoo: yeah, they could redesign the maps, but it would be so much of a redesign that it wouldn't really be recognizable. Actually, Containment is really just a heavily changed Sidewinder.
As for a level editor, that (along with everything else in this thread) is pure speculation. Officially, Halo 3 doesn't exist. We can say what we want in Halo 3, but that doesn't mean it will be in there.

you know, maybe thats why halo sucked. the graphics were shitty yeat my 5200 choked on playing it with medium graphics. all my friends agree it thinks too much of itself. the gameplay was fun but its soooo old now, ive played the first 3-5 levels soooo many times i dont think i could do it again if paid.

If you are talking about Halo:CE for the PC, the reason why the graphics werent to good, is because Gear Box didnt code it very well and also it was a Port, so generally they dont play to good anyway.
