DVD Shrink crashes...

I have one dvd that im trying to shrink and for some reason dvdshrink always crashes during. Oddly not at the same point everytime. I've tried reinstalling but it only crashed even sooner when I tried it again.

I've been using shrink for a while and not had this problem before.

Any ideas?

what dvd are you trying to backup? you can try using a progarm called AnyDVD and see if that helps because it maybe crashing from the copy protection.

Are you going through the normal process of using DVD Decrypter first then using DVD Shrink...

As redice said try and use AnyDVD or even try DVD43, its free...

If you cant compress it still try using CloneDVD 2... has automatic compression in it...

Actually, I downloaded the DVD ISO from my newsgroups access. I wasn't the original appropriator. :)

How large is the .iso file. If under 4.3 gb then just use DVDDecrypter to burn. Mode>,iso write

Its roughly 7gig hence the neccesity of DVDShrink.
