Hiya,
I just copied FIFA 06, using dvd decryptor and it doesn't work! I heard you need to re-build the game. What the hell does that mean?????
Could some1 plz help me!

try this
Step 1.
Decrypt the ps2 game to your hard drive using dvd decryptor.
Step 2.
Open up Isobuster and load in the image file.
Step 3.
Hold shift and highlight all the game files and put them in a folder.
Step 4.
Open up Nero burning rom and create a new UDF/ISO dvd (It's the last one in the list). Drop all the game files into Nero in the same order as it is listed in Isobuster. Just keep Isobuster open as a reference when you do this. Nero will change the order of the files graphically, however they burn in the order that you dropped them in.
Step 5.
Name the image and burn it at 4x.
Step 6.
Presto, you've rebuilt and burned a PS2 game. Play it.

Hi, will doing this method work with SM disks? Or is this just for a chip? The only ones I've done before I've use patch o matic (or something like that) and another file added in

doing all those things, once it is done, will the copied fifa 2006 work on swapmagic 3.6 and should the file order on nero also be the same? Because i have tried as above but it is not working - perhaps try ultraiso to burn?

also when u r in iso buster which image file do u have to load, is it the iso image or the mds image.

Load the iso the mds is something to do with decrypter,
ANother daft question sorry... in ISO Buster do I want to copy all the files plus the folders above them or just the files? Sorry mother trying to stop arguments between who's bedroom the game is in so I'm not quite as good as all of you!

i still can't get it to work using this method, i'm using swapmagic 3.3
All i get is a black screen and the disc keeps spinning slowly then quickly.

i try to do your steps but when i transfer the files from isobuster to Nero he gives a fault...unreadable sector:sector 2120000 couldn't be read error:05/63/00
so i clicked on retry but i wouldn't work
help me plzz
i'm from belgium,so its PAL.i use swap magic with slide card

Hi there, I'm new here but i'm also having problems with copying fifa, is there any way of burning the files from isobuster using roxio dvd copier? I just don't really want to download Nero as don't want two similar programs taking up space on my pc. Does anybody know a way of doing this?

uninstall roxio (thats next to rubbish). Stick with Nero, its user friendly and you won't have any probs copying games.

I need some serious help gettin these rebuilds to work, ive used the Nero /iso-buster / method each time and every time it comes up with 'not a valid ps2 disc' and it doesnt even attempt to load it
I'm down to about 6 top brand discs out of 20! please help!

when you have made the iso and opened it with isobuster are you leaving it open so that you can see what you are doing(ie leave it on the screen)
when you open Nero can you see both programs on screen(isobuster and nero)
if so look at isobuster and note how the files are layed out and copy each file that you have extracted including folders one by one in the exact order that is shown in isobuser into nero

yo, try this way, to get fifa 2006 working, this is way i did it for fifa 2006.
YOU MUST HAVE DVD Decrypter, CDVDGEN, AND ISOBUSTER INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER.
1) COPY THE PS2 GAME DVD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE AS AN ISO IMAGE.
a)OPEN DVD Decrypter.
b)IN THE DESTINATION AREA, CLICK ON THE FOLDER ICON TO CHOOSE BOTH A NAME AND A STORAGE LOCATION FOR THE ISO IMAGE.
c)CLICK ON MODE > ISO > READ.
d)CLICK ON THE DVD ICON TO START THE PROCESS.
e)WAIT UNTIL THE PROCESS IS FINISHED THEN CLOSE DECRYPTER AND GO TO STEP 2.
2) EXTRACT THE FILES FROM THE ISO IMAGE.
a) CREATE A NEW FOLDER ON YOUR HARD DRIVE TO STORE THE
EXTRACTED FILES.
b) OPEN ISO BUSTER AND CLICK ON FILE > OPEN IMAGE FILE.
c) NAVIGATE TO THE ISO FILE CREATED IN STEP 1 AND CLICK ON ?OPEN?.
d) HOLD THE CONTROL KEY ON YOUR KEYBOARD AND LEFT CLICK
EVERY FILE AND FOLDER IN THE LIST.
e) ONCE ALL THE FILES ARE HIGHLIGHTED, RIGHT CLICK ON ONE OF THEM AND CLICK ON ?EXTRACT OBJECTS?.
f) NAVIGATE TO THE NEW FOLDER THAT YOU CREATED ON YOUR
HARD DRIVE AND CLICK ?OK?.
g) WAIT FOR THE PROCESS TO FINISH THEN CLOSE ISOBUSTER.
3) CONVERT THE EXTRACTED FILES INTO 2 BIN FILES.
a) OPEN CDVDGEN.
b) SELECT ?CREATE NEW PROJECT? AND THEN SELECT ?DVD-ROM
MASTER DISC?. DRAG CDVDGEN TO THE LEFT SIDE OF YOUR
SCREEN.
c) NAVIGATE TO THE FOLDER THAT YOU CREATED ON YOUR HARD
DRIVE BACK IN STEP 2 AND OPEN IT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN.
d) SET THE WIDTH OF THAT WINDOW SO THAT IT IS ONLY 1 FILE WIDE. THIS WILL PLACE THE FILES INTO THE SAME ORDER AS THEY WERE ON THE GAME DISK BUT YOU SHOULD CHECK THEM FOR CORRECT ORDER JUST IN CASE.
e) CLICK ON EDIT > SELECT ALL.
f) DRAG ALL THE FILES INTO THE RIGHT SIDE OF CDVDGEN.
g) LOOK FOR A SLUS OR SLES FILE AND WRITE DOWN THE FULL NAME AND THEN CLICK ON THE ?VOLUME? TAB IN CDVDGEN.
h)TYPE SLUS OR SLES (WHICHEVER YOUR FILE NAME IS) INTO THE 1ST BOX NEAR "DISC NAME"
i) TYPE ALL OF THE NUMBERS FROM YOUR FILE NAME, WITHOUT THE PERIOD, INTO THE 2ND BOX.
j) TYPE PLAYSTATION FOR THE PRODUCER NAME AND SELECT THE APPROPRIATE LICENSE AREA.
k)CLICK ON "REC...".
l)SELECT YOUR DESIRED STORAGE LOCATION AND NAME THE FILE STAR.IML
m)YOU WILL GET 2 ERRORS, JUST CLICK OK FOR BOTH. (If you get one error message, then you have to download ?WNASPI32.DLL? www.Nero.com/us/WNASPI32.DLL.html
and put it in your windows system 32 folder.
n)THE RECORDING SCREEN WILL POP UP, CLICK ON FILE > EXPORT IMAGE AND SAVE IT ON ONE OF YOUR HARD DRIVES (NOT IN A FOLDER) NAME IT STAR.LST
o) WHEN IT'S FINISHED, YOU WILL HAVE 2 FILES NAMED STAR.000 AND STAR.001
p)CLOSE CDVDGEN AND GO TO STEP 4.
4) MERGE THE .000 AND .001 FILES INTO A SINGLE ISO IMAGE.
THE EASIEST WAY TO MERGE THE FILES IS FROM A COMMAND SCREEN.
YOU WON'T HAVE TO INSTALL AN EXTRA PROGRAM THAT MAY NEED
EXTRA FILES TO WORK AND COME ON, ADMIT IT, DOS IS SO MUCH FUN!!
a)CLICK THE WINDOWS START BUTTON AND CLICK ON RUN.
b)TYPE CMD IN THE BOX AND HIT ENTER.
c)CHANGE THE DIRECTORY TO MATCH WHERE YOUR STAR.000,STAR.001 AND STAR.002 FILES ARE STORED.
EXAMPLE- IF THEY ARE ON THE C DRIVE, TYPE CD C:\ AND HIT ENTER.
IF THEY ARE ON ANOTHER DRIVE, TYPE THE DRIVE LETTER WITH A COLON AND HIT ENTER.
d)ONCE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT DIRECTORY-
TYPE COPY/B STAR.000 + STAR.001 + STAR.002 STAR.ISO AND THEN HIT ENTER.
e)WHEN IT'S FINISHED YOU WILL HAVE A NEW ISO IMAGE NAMED STAR.ISO THAT YOU CAN NOW BURN IN STEP 5.
5) BURN THE NEW ISO IMAGE ONTO A BLANK DVD.
USE YOUR FAVORITE DVD BURNING UTILITY TO BURN IT AT THE
SLOWEST SPEED.

will this way work i just burbned it lkast time it loads up and i pick my team but when i go to play it it just loads to the last bit and stops so if i try this should it work i have the flip top ps2 and the boot disk thanks for the help

Follow the guide, burn at 4x with good DVD-R's. Use Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, or Verbatim. Short of that use Sony, Maxell, or TDK. Not all versions of FIFA 06 need to be rebuilt. To burn with DVD decrypter check here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/117975 Some heavy TOC games burn better at 8x.

still no luck, buggar! at least it goes red first now and then black where it stays, that normally happens when theyre about to work
still no luck though
n e ideas ppl? the game was in the exact order as the original
this is about the 10th cd with different methods, reckon i could have picked a second hand game up for that much!

hey, jockeycfc said that you burn a Nero iso image but my Nero which is the latest one does not seem to have anything like that. Can someone help with step 4 of his process. Also does it even work.

this should work , cause the first time i rebuild it it still lags but i took some unecessary files out,, so do all this then

after u have done this open the fifa folder on ur desktop
and delete "alocale" folder and "desi" folder..
then open Nero, burn a iso /udf image and place them in the same order they appear in isobuster... start with the last file on the list... it wont show up in that order in Nero but as long as u add it that way it will stil be good
then burn at like 1 or 2 x....and should work
