Yeah certain burners have different media they are more compatible with. Newer PS2's seem to work better with DVD+R's, and older ones with DVD-R's.

Well that same method may not work for everybody EZDuzit. It depends on a lot of different variables. Burn speed, media, make and model of burner, what recording software you use, etc. With this game some people did one rip with DVD Decrypter and were done, other's had to rebuild and make a lot of coasters before they succeeded.

That's good to hear. A TON of people have had issues with this game. Maybe cheap presses of the original's or poor iso building with DVD Decrypter. Guess it's a good thing I don't like Soccer lol. Go Steelers!

Try burning a little faster. Some people have reported issues when burning a rebuild at low speeds.

I don't steal *cough*. Yeah I used to think all games worked better when burned at slow speeds. This isn't true. Some games need to be burned at 2x, 4x, and rarely 8x. Progress in that order.

whenever my last post was was the last time that it crashed on me. i been playing it alot too. think my playstation has issues as its 5 years old with the worst chip (magic 3) but none the less it hasnt given me any problems since the last crash. i am using Ritek
-R 4x media and have a pioneer 108. Never had a problem with either, even managed to make a backup of GT4 which was probably the game i never thought i'd do. As it happens, thats the best game i have interms of loading times and jitter free playing.

Yeah one crash isn't cause for worry, especially with a generic modchip. I'm anal as hell (insert gay joke here) so I can understand getting mad when the PS2 crashes. Mine is 4 years old and I'm waiting to get it sent off to get chipped with a DMS 4 Pro, if the damned installers would ever send me their billing info.

Nah I'm referring to Skeetermods.com, run by this guy:
Nah of course I'm talkin about teammodders.com. It's a figure of speech lol. I have talked to Dave from teammodders.com and he has been real helpful. I just put in my order tonight. So you and Steimy are mods there, huh? That's cool how do you get a job as a moderator?

I've followed Bob's steps and have STAR.000 (.99Gig), STAR.001 (.99Gig), STAR.002 (838MB) & STAR.LST (360 Bytes). I've done this once before with NBA STReet 2 and it worked but I am having trouble with DOS. When I type COPY/B STAR.000 + STAR.001 + STAR.002 STAR.ISO It says CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED. I see them on my C: drive but it wont work. Can sopmeone please confirm that I am typing the correct DOS Prompt, I am not too skilled with DOS. Iam pretty sure I've done the previous steps correctly to get these files but I can't merge them,........please help.

Not everybody has to had to rebuild this game. Some people have made a straight burn with DVD Decrypter and it worked fine. Other's have had to rebuild. It seems the PAL version is more troublesome. I would try changing burn speeds, maybe 1x, 2x, before I worried about rebuilding. Worst case scenario, fire it up to 8x, and see what ya get.
