just a random post..........i'm bored
when hooking up with partners of the opposite sex,do people know there own level of attractiveness?,and thus know there limits in the pulling stakes?
i.e does an average looking guy,go for an average looking girl,knowing he has no chance in pulling a stunner?,(vice versas)
does an ugly bloke,realise he his ugly?
does an ugly girl,realise she is ugly?
does an ugly bloke see an ugly girl and think coooorrr...."shes nice"!!....because he realises his own level of attractiveness
why do you always see attractive people go out with attractive people?
why do you always see ugly people go out with ugly people?
i dont buy all this beauty is skin deep crap....after all,you have to wake up in the morning next to it...hehe
yes you get the odd match,of nice,and not so nice....but thats rare
the conclusion of this is....
ugly people,realise they are ugly,thus try and match up with partners with the same level of uglyness...but do they find them attractive...????.....NO,they dont,not instantly anyways...which means the majority of those out there are SETTLING FOR SECOND BEST,or even THIRD BEST

From my expereince...of viewing, alot of ugly guys that have beautiful woman usually have money.
Maybe people look for comfort level, not looks.
Example.
If you see a very attractive man take out a not so attractive woman, the comfort level is low, and the woman might have concerns as well as the man about who they really should be with (to be seen in public with).

My two cents is that it is socio-economic. The more you make, the higher social circles you run in. The higher social circles tend to spend more on making the outside beautiful. We all choose from the lake we are fishing in ergo if you work and play in places where people focus on appearances you will more likely than not have a mate that would be considered attractive. If you hang out in biker bars then you will most likely choose someone who might be considered rough around the edges.
Attitude has alot to do with it alos. I'm 36 and fairly attractive (a 7 I'd say) but only date women under 25 who are head turners. Why? Because I have a great outlook, personality and realism that they can't find in the younger "studs" that most girls would faint over.
At the end of the day, or the begining of the morning, it boils down to who you can live with.

Along this line of questioning...I have a buddy who is fairly attractive but he dates this chick who is 5' tall and 5' wide and has to shave or else she'd have a full grown beard. Why I ask him? He says less attractive girls have lower self esteem and 1) are easier to get and 2) he doesn't have to put up with a lot of bullshit because they are grateful when you do things for them whereas "hotties" expect the attention.

I'd say that most people have some idea of where they stand in physical attractiveness. But in my experiance, the people who are fairly average but look like they'd clean up very well are the best. Because they don't put much effort into how they look or in "showing off the goods", it means that they probably have some depth of personality and are probabyl quite interesting. I go for the girl with the most genuine smile and that looks somewhat average every time. If a girl has a great, warm, beautiful smile, nothing else is really important. But if they have a sneer when I first see them, they're an instant DQ because they're probably a bitch.
Plus being fairly average myself I'm a bit intimidated by ultra-hot girls...

lol. i can safely say i'm not one to spend hours in the bathroom. a woman to do that should get a kick up the arse, never mind blokes!
(and it's not cus i have to get up each morn at 05:30 that i don't spend too long preening, i'm 36 and i did my preening in my 20's - not too long then either, i just don't need to anymore. and no i'm not a ruffian, once upon a time i even had long hair half way down my back (that put most girls to shame - not a single split end in sight!)).

What trip me out is that ugly guy that tries to holla at a female who is smart, successfull in life and a dime piece. The guy has nothing to offer her in looks or money, dont own a car, house, no job or maybe flipping burgers at burgerking. I have seen some thugged out dudes get pissed off a female b.c the female did not want a nobody and then call her a bit#$ or something and he is looking like a crack dealer standing on a corner. I cant figure out why a guy who has a full mouth of gold teeth with a dream to be a rap star thinks that a educated, fine women would even look his way. LOL
Just wanted to add before anyone makes the comment that this is not a racist post. I am a 26 year old african american man who did something with his life. I am a nurse. My wife has a B.S. in Human resource management. Sometimes when we go to the what is called the east end here they will try to holla at my wife which is funny as hell to me. You know what i mean when i say bad when you can see people gathered outside a gas station like they are having a party 24 hours a day and selling crack to make it. Dudes with cornrolls that need to be redone, pants around their ankles, mouth full of gold, wearing fake gucci, etc; they need to stop trying to holla at females that are out of their league. Dont no professional women who is looking to do something with her life want no damn scrub. LOL So dont get mad at the female b/c she dissed you. LOL

I agree, those guys need to do some re-thinking of where they're going and what they're doing in their lives. Education is the answer. And you sir, are a prime example of what people can do.
