Just got a new company laptop.
What I would like to do is rip movies to the hard drive (decrypter) and then shrink (using shrink)just the movie to the hard drive without burning.
This would allow me to watch movies on the plane without having to take my movie disks with me.
Can I use shrink to copy to the hard drive without burning.

No need to use Shrink - just rip with Decrypter and use program such as Power DVD or Win DVD to view

I realize that I can just rip the file with Decrypter to the hard drive.
My thought was to shrink just the movie with DVDShrink, and then delete the Decrypter files, leaving only the Shrink movie file to save hard drive space.

That is also an option.

Over 98% of movies can be ripped with DVD Shrink alone using re-author mode - no need to use Decrypter except for some of the newer ones.
