DVD Shrink problem, other recommended programs?

Hello, i have been using dvd shrink 3.1 to backup movies for about a year now with no problems. However the last few movies i tried to burn i encountered a problem, when i klick "backup" the estimated time is like 200 hrs (it basically freezes). I have tried re-installing but it did not fix the problem. Has this happened to anyone else?

Also, is there a similar program i can download to dvd shrink? i got 4 movies that i have to backup ASAP so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try rip with e.g. DVD Fab Decrypter, then author with Shrink, and burn with e.g. Nero:
