Does the DVD Shrink guide in this website able to apply for this?

Does the gide provided in the DVD shrink able to use to copy DVD9(dual layer) to DVD9 (dual layer) [1:1 copy w/o reduce the size of the movie file]?

If you are going to backup to a dual layer disk, do not use DVD Shrink, use DVD Decrypter it is a much better program for dual layer burning. Use it in iso read then open your MDS file and do iso write mode. Decrypter handles the layer break much better, here is a guide.

Thank you arniebear. I forgot to mention that I've tried DVD Decrypter already. It didn't work for me because it was error at the middle of the process. The AnyDVD was run during the process but it still error.

I tried to make a copy of BeWitched to the dual layer disc because my portable dvd player is not able to play the ripped disc that shrink from DVD9 to DVD5 and I don't want to carry the original disc around because it will be scratched.

As I found in this forum, many people recommended to run AnyDVD in background because the new SONY DVD is not able to rip normally. I've tried with and without AnyDVD for many times but the error still happen.

I'm not sure that I did it correctly. I just open the AnyDVD and open DVD Decrypter. I'm not sure whether only doing this, the AnyDVD will run in the background or not? Could anybody help me please. Thank you in advance.

If the disc is scratched u probablly get a CRC error when using DVD Decrypter. Try cleaning it and then use DVD Decrypter with either AnyDVD or DVD43, but just dont run them at the same time.

If DVD Decrypter still gives u problems, try DVDFab Decrypter. This program is like DVD Decrypter its just a bit better cause its still being updated often.
