Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find the answer. During the processing, it will go up to around 30% then it will pop up a new window and say " DVD encountered an error and cannot continue. Out of memory. Not enough storage is available to process this command." What does this mean? I checked my memory (RAM) and I still have 400 MB left. Help please!

How much free hardrive space do you have avialable?

If you are ripping to hard drive, you should have at least 10GB of free harddrive space available.

YOu shouldn't be messin around w/ your D drive, that's like restore or something. You aren't even allows to touch that drive, comp won't let you do anything to it.

I'm asking how much free space do you have on your hard drive (normally C) or the drive to which you are ripping the movie? Normally at least 10GB of free space is required.

Not completely true, specially on aftermarket hard drives that were added. I have a 80 GB hard drive, partitioned in to a 20GB C: drive, and another partitioned that is the D: drive that consist of the other 20GB.

I know there are some cases, like yours, but in general you should leave it alone. Esspecially if the comp is store bought, never been touched on the inside.
