how do i get dvd2xbox on my xbox,where do i put it and how do i run it,i am running unleashed x and use smart ftp if that helps?

Download the latest version from xbins or wherever you can find it, uncompress/zip if necessary. Then ftp into your xbox and transfer the dvd2xbox folder the the apps in your e drive, or f drive if you upgraded your hdd. Then insert the game you want to copy, in your UnleashX dashboard go to applications and select dvd2xbox the program should launch. Then select the Copy DVD/CD-R to HDD option. Once it has finished restart your xbox or select boot to dash in the dvd2xbox menu. And the game you copied should be under Games on HD, select it and play.

hi,i have previously installed unleashedx dashboard but i went back to the normal one by accident so how do i get into it,it just says error when i try to re-install it?

hi ive got my unleashed dash but there i cant see an apps folder in my e drive and theres no f drive?

If there is no apps folder in e drive just create one, named apps. Also, there probably wouldn't be an f drive if you didn't upgrade your hardrive and format the f drive.

The only way to get dvd2xbox on your xbox is through ftp or a softmod installer. So the answer is yes, your xbox must be modded to use dvd2xbox.

there is a xenium ice solderless mod chip for $54.99 xenium SP.ice solderless modchip for $59.99 on www.consolesource.com whats the difference? So I install the modchip get a bigger hard drive and I'm ready to play games straight from the hard drive or is it not that simple? I have hd loader for ps2 wish it was that simple for xbox please check out those 2 mods on the website i provided above any thoughts?

it doesn't let me on xbox live unless i restore my ms dash,is there any other way round this so i can keep my unleashx dashboard?

Dvd2xbox should create a games folder but if it doesn't or you just want to, go ahead. You can't get on xbox live with modded console, or if you do you will probably be banned after a while.

u can get on xbox live witha modded console(easily)
i have been modding for around a year and haven't been banned once !and if i do i will get another trial
or change xbox and buy a new one,

Yes you can get on live if you turn off your chip or softmod. Did you get dvd2xbox working or do you still need help.

so I downloaded it, and I have XBMP and I have it as my dashboard as well. I cannot get the dvd2xbox to work... like, when I go to "programs" I see the folder but nothing lunches or there is no executables in the folders or anything, am I doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!
I also deleted everything in order to have xbmp as my default dashboar, so I lost my xbl account information and of course the dashboard and all the updates for halo. therefore I cant' play ntill I get the updates again AND I can't get the updates cuz I can't go to the content download screen... please help.
I am a noob, I know, we all were once...

i managed to get halo2 onto my xbox by having it in the drive and using smart ftp to transfer them all into the e/games drive and it works but theres a tiny hitch..theres no text at all,like none...
none in the menu(i know my way about though)none in the game(like to pick up weapon hold x)no ammo number,no grenade count nothin...so whenever i try to transfer the font file it says transfer failed,i'v e tired everythin i can think of,but it doesn't work!!!
