The English (original) series of "The Office" is on sale at Best Buy. A friend reccomended it so I got it. It is Fabulous!

Trying to make a back up, I got the message that it is too big, an d to make sure the video compression was at automatic (it is).

Can I re-authoer, and pick main movie #1 2 and 3 (for each show) and redo it again after its burned to get movie #3, 4 and 5?

That way the video compression wont be at 47%.

Also, there are 14 "menus". The first one is a small file, the others are 0 in size. Do I need to include menu #1?

How does it look? I think it said the video compression was 47%. Granted, this show isnt displaying awesome video like a Star Wars, but I dont wanna look at crap video.

I did just go get a Sony Dual Layer DVD burner at Best Buy, $50 after rebates. Im gonna look to see if Shrink and Decrypter support DL....

Just tried using decrypter to do the whole disc. Unfortunatley, it only copied 3.8 Gb instead of the whole thing at 100%, which would be around 7.8 GB.

Do I need to change some type of setting to make it burn to DL? Yes I did put in a DL blank DVD+R.

** Update; My fault, I copied the wrong file. With the new Sony DRU810A DVD DL Burner I just got at Best Buy for $50.00 it worked. Copied the whole disc (darn near 8 GB total) it works! Woo hoo!

I split each original disk onto two disks with three episodes each using the re-author function. Quality is uncompressed and perfect. There are no menus, but it is easy just to to jump forward to the individual episodes.

wvmcl;

Thats what I was gonna do, but I thought for 50 bucks why not upgrade my burner. I had to go buy new blank DVDs anyway.....
