Compress video with high quality adpative error compensation...

I use Sharp (default)...

Are the others settings for this any better?

I have the 'Deep Analysis' box checked for pretty much all my burns, unless I'm doing something that doesn't need it/won't allow it.

RE:AEC options

The 'smooth' setting is if you want something that will run like water, a fluidness to your backups. This is esspecially if you don't like skips or freezes. I will use this for most movies. The 'sharp' setting is if you want good quality pictures. I will use this for animated movies and if it's something like LotR where the visuals are part of the experience. But it's really all up to you. You can use the max setting but I hear that adds 30 minutes to your time, and is only recommended for higher end comps. I never use that mostly because I can't tell the diff so why waste my time.

Thanks! Sounds like I'm better off just using the default settings then, I'm happy for the most part of the quality of the rips...

I just downloaded AnyDVD and I'm definitely buying this! It got right through Bewitched using DVD Shrink...Should I get CloneDVD 2, is this the same thing as DVD Shrink?
