EvoX is all over the net now. You'll have better luck findong it there, than requesting files here. Also, HD size doent depend on the chip. It depends on the BIOS on the chip. You need a BIOS that supports LBA48. Also since you will be setting it up new, look for a BIOS ending in .06, not .67. Both of these support LBA48, but one has a larger F and the other has F&G partitions. And finally, read this thread. Most of the info on how to copy games is here.

For what you want to do, any modchip will do. So my advice is to look around for different ones, they have different options for advanced users. But they will all do your needs. Then decide which one is best for you. I pesonally have used alot of them, but prefer Xecuter chips. But I install cheapmods(Alladin) in my customers XBOX's.

So.......in all..u have to put the FTP files onto your cd and burn it?!?! I DONT get it..someone plz help me..im stuck on burning xbox games..plz help

you have to put the game i your xbox then ftp to the xbox and ftp the files on the game to your computer, then those are the files you have to burn using Nero and burn as an iso image.

well did you check the site out then that i gave in my other post? you'l need to download Evox and install that on your xbox in order to be able to ftp to your xbox.

hey.. thats my site.. hehe...
yea.. xbox copying ALWAYS requires a mod chip no matter what any says... the only other way is to flash your eprom on the xbox and hell, why waste that much time when you can get a mod chip like the xecuter lite that has dual bios banks, off/on switch for LIVE, and protect options that attach on the front...
ps2 better, easier? perhaps.. but better.. na.. think about it.. with a modded xbox you can:
-play backups
-HAVE A HD!
-put mp3s, divx,AVI,mpg on hd and watch
-put emulators on hd (ps1 emulator does work! snes, nes, etc.. )
-and even linux..
just my opinion and .02 but ....

The reason you can't directly copy Xbox games is because the Xbox does not use standard DVDs.
A DVD you can purchase is a DVD-5. An Xbox is a DVD-9. Until about 2 years ago it was thought that DVD-9s would have to be stamped. Turns out that's not the case.
Pioneer & Verbatim have developed writable DVD-9s but you can't purchase them yet. DVD-9 Drives are available, but most will need a firmware upgrade before they'll actually write (that upgrade isn't out yet).
Also, I don't know of (haven't heard of any) DVD Clone programs that will do a 1:1 identical backup of DVD-9s. I'm sure it will all be coming soon.

DVD Clone??? That's bull****. DVD X Copy Platinum 4.03.8 is the best for Copying DVD Movies and Nero Ultra Edition for DVD Creation.....

I just bought a Premodded XBOX with X-ecuter 2.3 Lite. I want to make copies but is there a place to get some backups that you trust so I can test the console right away. I saw a site called http://www.backupoutlet.com. Has anyone ever used them? The guy that did my console said it is ready to play backups. Does that mean I do not have to flash the bios and that. I want to network it up and ftp, and burn. Am I there yet?
