Make sure you are in dma mode and not the slooow pio mode. Here's a guide:

I am in DMA mode, i have defraged my computer, checked firmware, checked ASPI, and all are good. I dont know what wrong with it. I am trying to copy The Longest Yard and Star Wars III but it is very slow on Encoding now when i am analysising it breezes through.

hmmm here's a few other things - have you tried another program to rip and checked the speed? Do you have deep analysis checked in shrink? Is this happening only for these 2 movies?

Sounds like you might have shrink running in low priority mode or have too many other progs running while your encoding. From the main screen in DVD Shrink go to edit->Prefences->Preferences tab, and untick the bottom option. Close all unnecessary progs including the internet, sypware/adware progs, firewalls, norton's/mcafee etc., and monitoring advice. DVD Shrink is a resource hog and needs alot of CPU and mem. If you don't multitask you may see improved times.

Well it looks like it works now. :) Thanks sooooo much for your help. All I did was untick the bottom option in the prefrences like you said and it worked. Now its much faster.
