my processor is celeron r 2.00ghs 250mb ofram running xp version 2002 service pack 2 40 enternal 80 external drives . shrink and decrryter work when i first download them but shrink i had a problem with the movie starting and stopping after i burned it. now nothing . i tried uninstalling and reinstall but no help . the screen come up but when i try to use it just says no medium present

One of your main problems is RAM. Windows uses a good portion of what you have. I think you should upgrade your ram. This will make an immediate improvement in your system performance.
RAM is fairly inexpensive now. Visit: http://www.pricewatch.com and you can see for yourself.
With only 250 your system will definately be overtaxed in a burn operation.
What DVDRW drive do you have and what is the latest firmware version?

I did a search and found this about Windows XP.
If you only have 256mb of ram xp can take half of that just to run your system. Couple that with the taxing cpu pressure that DVDShrink employs and you are likely to have problems.
I would highly recommend a Ram upgrade as soon as you can.

HI WELL I ADDED 256 MB NOW HAVE 512 . STILL CAN NOT SHRINK TO WORK WHEN I GO TO THE REAUTHOR AND CLICK ON THE MOIVE IN F DRIVE . THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENS IS VOTIS FILE COMES UP IT SHOULD BE OPEN IHAVE THE SHRINK SET FOR AUTO OPEN

This sounds like problem could be due to poor quality media or burning too fast. Use dvd identifier http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ and tell us the manufacturer and ID of your media. What speed did you burn at?

hello again shrink still says shrink not responding sent a error report to microsoft the only iformation i have on that is. szappname DVD Shrink 32 exe szappver szmodver:0.0.0.0. of set 00000000. i think i might have tweek something in xp . or when i ran registery fix it might have done somthing ran a system recovery but it did not help
