Hello all, i am wondering how i get that annoying piracy warning add and the "pre movie previews" off before i burn, i use shrink 3.2 to rip (sometimes dvd decrypter if shrink has trouble) and also shrink to burn.. i am thinking i am able to do in the "re-author" section of shrink but am really not quite sure, i have never tried this but i am getting a lil sick of seeing that piracy warning on my copys, its a lil dumb to have it there (lol). if you have any infomation for how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to you who reply in advance and have a GREAT Chrissy! Cheers.
Macey.

Simple. Select the video or preview under Full Disc Backup you want to get rid of, and in the drop down under Video, select Still Image. This replaces the video clip with a still image that takes up very little space on your disc. I remove trailers all the time to clear up space.

Just a note for you, if you plan on getting rid of it via re-author mode you will lose your menu.

My method is done under the Full Disc Backup so you will retain all menus. Retain everything except those files you wish to lose...

But it's still there. I can't speak for everyone but the only reason I hate those ads is b/c they're so long and waste my time. But if all you are doing is replacing those w/ stills you are still watching them.

When you replace with Still Pictures, then yes, you watch them. When you replace with Still Image, you don't watch anything, but a single still image. Just hit Chapter Forward or Menu on your remote to go to the next part of your disc. The disc space a Still Image takes up is much, much less, and frees up space for your movie.

To each his own. I can put up with a small single image versus a 3 minute preview for a movie I have no interest in. Or use CloneDVD2 to get rid of it altogether.

But to me you are still spending time and that is what bothers me, the only time I use stills is when the disc is too big. And you can hit next on a dvd w/ the original ads. But you are right to each his own. But definitly use clone if you got it.

Only reason I use Shrink really, is you can adjust the Compression percentages in Menus and Extras way up, to say 40% and free up some compression space for your movie, to say 80%. If I could figure out how to make CloneDVD2 to do that, I'd probably only use it. I paid for it, I may as well use it.

Occasionally Shrink will break out with some programming error, and I just use CloneDVD2 to make the disc instead.

You can have VobBlanker to "BLANK" or delete any previews, scenes, FBI warning, etc. and still have the full disc.
