i keep on getting this error failed to read "d:\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check) there is no encryption or anything on here its from my friend that he burnt can somebody help!

see if the dvd your copying is dirty or fingerprints.or try rebooting to clear the memory have had some friends say they get the cycle redundancy check error if they dont reboot before writing disc.something to try

what kind of media are you using.if you are using shrink try setting dvd target size to 4300mb some media crashes when writing to the edge of the disk.

open shrink click on edit then click preferences goto select dvd target size set at custom (should be at 4360mb)change to 4300mb and try that.if you goto www.dvdplusvideo.com and look for petes guide you will find the best settings for dvddecrypter and shrink for easy and hard to burn dvds.lot of good info

hey try a better brand of media phillips are not good.i use ritek ridata taiyo yudens are very good.i put a post on this forum about media check it out media is a big factor on good burns without making frisbees

It's got to be a bad press. You could try ripping it with DVDFab decrypter first. Sometimes DVDFab will get the hard to rip discs.

Shrink is a great program. I have never had it fail. It's always the discs fault, or something to do with the disc, not shrink.
