Problem with DVD Shrink

I am having problems with DVD Shrink . after using the program successfully for years, now each time i use it it tells me i'm out of memory. i clean up my disk, freed up half my storage drive, ran defrag. nothing made it work, it always said i needed more memory.
ran the dvd thru dvdxcopy (with anydvd) and it burned, no problem.
so i uninstalled DVD Shrink and reinstalled it but it still didn't work. i really like DVD Shrink. any one have any ideas on what i can do to make it work again? i use hp 751n, 1.8 GHz Pentium 4, 736 MB of RAM. windows XP, 70 gigs of storage, 35 of which are free

Out of memory doesn't really mean out of memory. What movie are you doing that is giving you this. Anyways...what ever movie it is a program like DVDFAB (free) will handle it.

Since you have AnyDVD run it with shrink also. Like GlueEater said it doesn't really mean out of memory - shrink more than likely can't handle the copy protection. Give it the boost it needs w/ AnyDVD.

I was trying to burn Brothers Grimm and eventually I did using DVDXCopy and Any DVD. But I had been using DVDShring with DVDDecrypter and AnyDVD for so long, I forgot I had DVDXCopy. But it worked fine. So this is an encryption problem and not really a memory problem. Pretty crappy of them to put me thru all that. Well at least I did clean out all the crap on my PC. I wonder if they dropped anything into my system because my computer did seem slower after that out of memory error came up. Is that possible?

The problem is not with DVDshrink, it's the new copy protection that's being used on current DVDs. What I suggest you do is have AnyDVD or DVD43 (not both at the same time) running in the backround when using shrink. If your still having problems with shrink then try first ripping the DVD with DVDdecripter or DVDfab Dvecypter while having AnyDVD or DVD43 running in the backround then use shrink. If DVDshrink gives you an error when trying to open the files then you're going to have to process them with VobBlanker first then open them with shrink.
