Very unhappy with their service.

Ordered a modchip from them because their webpage stated that it is in stock.

On December the 5th, which is three days later, sent me a email saying that the order is still in "Process"!!
Asked them why it is still in process as the modchip is in stock, and it took them two days to give me this reply:

Not shipped out yet
still waiting for restock

It is indeed they have no stock!! Then why in the first place they keep saying the chip is in stock on their webpage?

Modchipworld then agree to cancel the order and refund my money but have no response after sending two emails to confirm my refunds since Dec 8th, 2005 (today is Dec 26th, 2005 and I have no news from them yet)

BEWARE THIS WEBSHOP!!!!!!!

We have called the cutomer (Mr. J. W.) and refuned him on the spot (It takes the bank a couple days to put the money back to the account after we do the refund). During the holidays we have a high call volume as well as emails. But we always get back to our customers to resolve their sitution.

First of all, customer service is very bad and rude. It took 3 whole weeks to repond my email. No matter how high is the volume you had mentioned but waiting for three whole weeks is just riduculous. Yes, I have received telephone call from modchipworld.com regarding the matter (after I posted negative feedbacks on many different forums) but that person on the other end is rude. I have already contacted my credit card company regarding on this whole situtation last week. They said if the matter is not resolved when I received my next bill. Mastercard will take action.

I am very disappointed with this whole transcaction. And please we don't like hearing excuse. We like to see actions made.

This customer is extremely rude. We have attempted to give him the authorization number for the proof of refund but he simply hung up on us. This kind of behaviour is simply rude and is not taken lightly by our company. The transaction has been refunded and this individual is no longer a customer of ours. Any further action is considered harassment. It is interesting that Mr. Wong insist that we did not provide him proof of refund when we try to do so he hangs up. It is rude people like Mr. Wong who makes customer service a difficult task.

Its people like this that really get me totally pissed off, pissed of enough to go out and post on a thread made by an idiot. In my little over two year dealings with Mod Chip World, I have never really had a problem with ever recieving my merchandise. I have been installing chips (matrix infinity & Executer 3) myself for the better part of these two years. Also at a high volume of installs. Sometimes they have no choice when, sending to the states, in how long it can be held up in customs. I have found out through experience that there is a long delay when sending products to either one of our countries(Canada/America). It seems to me that this is just some pent-up person who has no sense of values and can't express himself rationally. I have had nothing but great support from the staff at modchipworld.com. No complaints. A kind phone call will always get you better results than an angry one. Food for thought. Anyways, I just gotta say that I will continue to support the staff at modchipworld.com . Heck they've supported me.
Well here's hoping for a prosperous 2006 for all!!!! Happy New year folks!!

It is interesting that manpsguys is a newbie to this forum when that person had 2 yrs to experience with this company and installing chips.(humnnn...very strange).
I am not harrassing. All the comments are true. Is not the fact that about long wait for customs. ModChipWorld.com do not have the item in stock when the web site said it has. That's why I asked for refund.

I ordered another chip from another web site company in the states and it comes in three days during the christmas holiday. No complications. Maybe that company has a very stable email system.

This is my last posting for this whole ridiculous chain. I am not wasting my time anymore. People who have many experience with ModChipWorld.com or just a newbie can post whatever they want.

Well here's hoping for a prosperous 2006 for all!!!! Happy New year folks!!

You have recieved a refund once we found out the problem. Therefore you are no longer a customer of ours and everything you say is simply harassment. You are free to express your opinions but your comments are rude and childish. It is very interesting that you are also a newbie on this thread too and also 90% of all the members of this site. Grow up and stop harassing companies that are trying to give "real customers" a good service. Have a nice day.

Well I just ordered a PreMod from modchipworld.com. I have heard many good things about the site. Hopefully they wont dissapoint me. Bad service can really have a bad impact on the company. But like i said, hopefully i won't have to wait PreModded xbox to arrive. I've been researching this for a long time and saving money. Pray for me ya'll LOL

If you ordered standard shipping UPS delivers 3 to 5 Business days. If it is "express" then it is 1 to 2 days. :D

u really don't even have 2 look 4 it, all i was really asking was what software came installed on the disc already? shit, so far customer service is killing modchipstore.com. Man, I SUBMITED A TICKET ASKING WHY THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER AND WHY THEY DIDN'T ANSWER MY E-MAILS AND THEY DELETED THE TICKET TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WASN'T EVEN THERE. WHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT
