Hey I am new to this dvd burning deal and have burned like 3 dvds but they burn really slow, it takes like an hour and a half to burn 1, i was wondering if this is normal or am i doing something wrong?

You can't possible be talking about the actaul BURN process. The burn process is only as long as you want it to be. WHat speed are you burning at?

If you are talking about the whole DVD-backup(including burn) then 1 1/2 hours doesn't seem too long. Is your DMA on? Are you multi-tasking? When did you last defrag? Is your HD to full? When you run a spy/ad/malware remover?

Do I want my DMA on or off? When you first go in do you do a deep anlysis and what speed should i run at to get faster download and how to change it?

Of course you want your DMA on, off it could add hours to your time. Yes I do deep analysis. Are you also doing AEC options? That will also add considerable time. You can't really choose what speed Shrink goes at, only burn speed. Downloads??? there is no downloading involved, w/ shrink. Explain.

badstar, you already have a thread for this problem. do not multipost again, as that is against the forum rules. pick one of the two,and stay with it.
