Good question. I figured the one hour one is definitely out. I went with the 2hr one owing to the fact the packaging states the theatrical version is also on the DVD (which is probably the 1 hour 58 min. The uncorked is supposed to be 8 minutes extra, so it makes fair sense that these are the ones you want. I don't know what the really short one is there for, other than maybe the hope of the producer that one third of the copies made will result in a wasted DVDR. It may have something to interact with other files to prevent copy playback. Safe course - use Shrink re-edit to only do the uncorked or theatrical (your pick) and leave the rest of the stuff alone, unless you really want all the extras and 2 1/2 versions of the film compressed at 47%.

after 3 attempts.... the correct combo is AnyDVD using decrypter, shrink. flawless burn. Fab DVD = No + VOB blanker = no, platinum and any dvd = no.

Ok, I'm using DVD Region Free and DVD Shrink and here's what I get after Shrink analyzes Wedding Crashers.

Main Movie
Title 3,5,51-57,64 - 234 MB
Title 9,10,47,67 - 203 MB
Title 43,44 - 315 MB

Unreferenced Material
VTS 2 - 3,102 MB

I've always just reauthored the DVD using Shrink and dragged over the main movie from the Main Movie folder. The Unreferenced Material folder also shows up in Nero 7. I tried using Nero 7 instead of Shrink and just disabling everything but the Unreferenced Material but it didn't work. I've now got a nice coaster for my beer. This must be a DVD Region Free thing since I read that someone else had the same problem using DVD Fab. Do I need to buy AnyDVD now or what? Thanks!

Ok, nevermind. I just uninstalled DVD Region Free and installed AnyDVD & it looks like it used to look. No more Unreferenced Material. DVD Region Free needs to keep up. Slackers.

In case this hasn't been said... A large number of Wedding Crashers DVD's have been shipped back because of various small defects on the disc surface... most of these are visible to the naked eye... near the outer edge, 2 small "creases" for lack of a better word..

As a result, many originals play erratically if at all.... garbage in garbage out !!!

This helps explain why some can and some can't back up with identical setups...

If you're having trouble, check your disc carefully... Look closely...

i just completed the wedding crashers, and i couldnt have done it without all you guys out there!
by the way, i used AnyDVD 5.3.2.1, in the background with decrypter and shrink and decrypter again.
i wont lie to you, it took a hella long time to read with decrypter the first time round.after something like 3000 read errors, it kicked in like mad around 55%(i wasnt watching the whole time) or so.
i tried for a couple of days to do this, but this setup worked for me!
thanks again guys!

no i had a bunch of errors while i was using AnyDVD and decrypter, but before i used AnyDVD, nothing worked, not clone dvd, folder2iso, ratDVD, or fab decrpter.
although i could get an iso from fab, it was useless in every program i tried to use with it.
i believe i read somewhere, that a large number of these dvds were faulty at time of shipping, so that couldve been my problem, but the disc looked fine, but it has negligent glue marks on the inside clear plastic part, surely a sign of quality craftsmanship, so i wouldnt doubt if the dvd itself was janky, and not at all protected up the wazoo, like i previously thought, but who knows, im no expert.

after getting rid of DVD43 in the background i purchased AnyDVD with the 10.00 promotion off from after dawn, burned the cave and the gospel using my old 321 studio platinumx in simple mode with any dvd in the background, back to reliability, took two days to figure out, and thanks for all the help and info about AnyDVD a powerful decrypter, recorded both in just a little over an hour. AnyDVD also worked well with oneclickdvdpro oneclick dvd . i hope i can help someone down the line and appreciated all the feedback, al calwaone

As always, used AnyDVD version 5631 (before I installed the last 3 updates) and CloneDVD2. No errors during rip/burn. Made copy of entire disc (just a little pixilated), and made a movie only copy (near perfect picture), watched the disc and had no errors/problems during playback. Good Luck To All..............

Try Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter before Shrink on The Gospel.

here is my way, i have a dvd burner made by lite-on $40.00
latest version of AnyDVD $30.00 i got it free,
nero ultra6 came with the lite-on burner and a pack of 10 dual layer, dvd's wich retail about $11.00 ,free. 120 dvd's and counting
priceless..... it's simple just open the AnyDVD program then just leave it alone and open Nero start smart to copy dvd, open dvd tray place dvd in tray, click on copy or burn select speed at your own risk
i normaly use max and i have never had any problems at all,and the qualaty is flawless, however people if you get morethan one program
for burning dvd's they will clash and not operate well causing break downs and constant frezzzz up.. my info for you free, usit well.
dvd shrink also goes well with Nero and lite-on burner good back up's. allthe time remember a clean pc, is the best tool...

i forgot some other info for you people out there in dvdlandia.
it's the most important of all and hardly any one is talking about it, well here it is. before you burn dvd's and do anything first thing first,do a disk clean up or reg clean and fix, your pc,then make sure that you defrag as well, any way's it's what to do before to make shure the pc,is at it's best. there is also programs, for free like lava soft adware removal verry important,
it's like a tune up in your car and or new breaks on your bike.
analize first before you defrg you may not need to defrag,i know many of you don't have the time because you are lazy;
any way's just try...latter ........zillaman out.

Crud. Stumbled on this thread by accident, and went home and checked my backup of 'Crashers. Yup, chapter 10 is screwed up. Backed this up with DVDD and AnyDVD on Jan 5th or so, used a DL disc. (What an expensive coaster, no?) Will the new release of AnyDVD fix the problems with this movie? I plan on re-trying this evening, but will use a re-writable disc, just in case. Haven't made a coaster in so long, guess I got over confident, and haven't seen the need to check my back-ups anymore.

AnyDVD and Shrink. Perfect full disc back up, no flaw in Chapter 10.
