I am new to this. I just got a new Dell laptop. I have downloaded dvd shrink and installed a purhcased retail version of Nero 7 Ultra edition. Dvd shrink appears to work, but the burning stalls and fails at 2%. What am I doing wrong?
I have downloaded DVD Decrypter and when using that, I get an I/O error. I would like to use Nero and DVD Shrink. Please help.

Since your laptop is new, your burner's firmware maybe out of date, if it is, I suggest updating to increase compatibility with the media you're using.

If you're using the auto burn with Nero option in DVDshrink, I've heard that there may be a problem using shrink with Nero 7 ultra. If the is the way you're set up, then uncheck this option in shrink and try burning the files with Nero seperately/manually.
...let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '5C80' or similar.
You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"
