Under the shrink preferences set the target size to custom and type in 4300. That will do it for you.

cheers.

If you get red bars on the top of shrink, you can always shrink that file again. Just open up the ISO and shrink it again, calling it something different. Its not the length of time, but the bit rate the movie was recorded at, or a more accurate way would be to look at the total file size after shrinking. If it is less than 4.3 GB, it should fit on a DVD5. More than that, and you need to shrink it again, or remove some un-needed audio, or titles to get your target size down.

kidas, ruger already gave you a good advise. It seems to me that you think a dvd can hold 2hours of video. That is not the correct. A dvd5 holds 4.7gb or 4464mb of data. Your 2hour movie may be bigger than that size, due to whatever reasons. So you have to shrink your movie to under that size if you want to be able to burn it onto disk.
Wow I type so slow, MaxBurn you beat me to it :)

OK then, it looks like you have a good size to fit on DVD5. In this case we need more info, like what media are you using? What burner? Maybe if you could post your log Im sure someone will be able to help you.

Some of the newer movies have a newer encryption than DVDShrink or DVDDecrypter can handle. There are several software driver encryption breakers that are available to combat this new encryption.

DVD43 (Free)
AnyDVD (retail)
DVDFab Decrypter (Free)

Give one of those a try.

I have used Shrink sucessfully for about 3 months and use to burn almost everthing, even better than native Nero, and now all of a sudden, it wants me to put in a DL DVD even though the preferences says it should be a DVD5. I did like you said and used the 4300 but now it wants to shrink it. The folder (VIDEO_TS) is 4.35 GB (4,680,859,648 bytes).
Am using Yuden and Verbatium only, is 4300 best or is there a more exact number of GB one should use since cant get the DVD5 correct.
Also, is the FULL DISK button suppose to ON all the time? Cant find what that mean even in Doom9 guide, he skips over that option.
Can anyone explain what it is and should it always be on??

Thanks
Patrick
