Input: point to folder where you ripped from DVDFab
Output: Create a new folder, (Valiant_Blanked) or somthing

then just hit "Process" and let it do it's magic.

Once done, open DVD Shrink -> Open Files -> goto Valiant_Blanked -> OK

Follow normal process....

Hey Guys, The New DVDFabDecrypter ver. 2.9.6.6 has fixed this stuff and you no longer need VobBlanker.

Just Decript using DVDFab and then Shrink??

edit - Also AnyDVD ver. 5.7.3.1 takes care of it. just AnyDVD+DVDShrink will do..

Hi,

I tried to backup Madagascar and nothing would work with my normal way (DVD43, Shrink or DVD Decrypter, so I tried DVDFab. That whole process went through fine, but when I tried to use Shrink to make the DVDFab file an ISO Shrink told me I didn't have enough memory to continue the process. I closed all my programs from the computer, and it still did the same thing. I've never had a problem before with Shrink or any of the others as far as this goes. Suggestions for why this happened with this one alone? Should I have used VOB Blanker after DVDFab? Thanks.

If you are still having difficulties then you might as well try VobBlanker. I usually rip my files with Decrypter, but you can use DVD FabDecrypter, and then run that file through VobBlanker and then open Shrink and process. See if this works for you :)

Can you open a movie in VobBlanker direct from the disc, and still have it do it's thing? I'm only asking about a simple process step. I mean as source then set target then process.

You can as long as you run AnyDVD in the background to break the encryption, I do this to save a step. VobBlanker will rip the file to your HDD and then you can use whatever program you want to compress/burn. I suppose you could also use DVD43, I do not use this program because my comp had some issues with it, but it should work just like AnyDVD.

Just make a folder on your HDD for the ripped files, then when you go to open them with whatever program you are going to use just open the folder, it will then find the files. I use Recode or have used Clone on occasion.

VobBlanker is one of the most powerful tool (freeware) out there that can filter, process, cut and blank out fake/bad cells or scenes easily. Another great tool is PgcEdit in combo with PSL2 plugin and FixVTS.
