Before I stumble on this website in October last year, I was using Platinum XCopy for more than a year. After using DVD Shrink for 2 months I am happy to say that this is a great software, easy to use & can copy most movies with ease. I stopped using XCopy to backup my movies but not completely. I am a great follower of Chinese drama series from Hong Kong & they come in multiples of 7 to 20 DVD. Each DVD consists of 3 chapters of 45 minutes each. I solely use XCopy to backup because I just can't do it in DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink. I only want the movie content consisting of 3 chapters minus all the adverts & messages. In XCopy I select what is needed & it will read & then write the DVD. I tried that in DVD Decrypter & when I burned with Nero, an error message said that certain files are missing. I haven't tried with DVD Shrink yet but I think the Reauthor mode should be able to do it.

You can do it with DVD Shrink Reauthor. Just click Reauthor then dragthe main movie files only over to the left then back it up
