For some reason all of a sudden, when shrink goes to open nero to start the burn, it does the first three steps of the burns, the allocatting of files, etc, then it just seems to freeze. I had a post about that a few days ago, and the person said to start using decrypter and burn with it.

So I did that, and it worked the first time, but now when shirnk goes through reading the movie and then opens decrypter to burn, it just stay at the main screen and does nothing. In the bottom left corner, it says starting device, or something along those lines. There is a blank disc in there and it is turned on.

Any ideas on either problem? Thanks

Uninstall both (DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter), then reinstall them back on to see if that solve your problem.

Honestly, I've never experienced any thing related to what you've described, so I can't really tell you what to do. Hopefully, someone with a similar issue in the past will help you to solve your problem.

1.12 GB Ram
60 GB Hrd Drive
16x Lite-On DVD DL Burner
Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz

Not sure about firmware, would there even be an update for that drive? It is pretty new.

I was using Phillips dvd's +r, 4x.

If you open DVDdecrypter it will show the drive and firmware version in the upper right hand pane.

You can then visit this sight to see if your drive has an update available: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php

Just type the model into the search box and click search. If there is one download it to your desktop and double click on it, it should self install.
