DVD Shrink turnig computer off!

wondering if anyone knows whats going on???? i can analize DVD's but as soon as i start encoding about a quarter of the way through my comp turns itself off.
what too do???

Your system cannot handle the task at hand. Ripping DVD requires a lot of system resources. It place a lot of stress on your CPU causing excess heat & if not allow to cool will shut down the PC. Open up the casing & direct a fan to blow inside. You should also have at least 10Gb of free space on your HDD.

thanks mate i have the free space must be the heat. so its not strange to only do it when using DVD Shrink to burn. all other burning seems to work DVD to DVD for example?

Sounds like a heat related issue or insufficent resources - DVD Shrink does not burn - it uses third party software such as Nero etc. to burn.

Provide your computer specs.

its all cool now fellas ive cleaned out the CPU fan and given the computer more air and works fine now cheers for the info and help
