There's already a dvdrip released, so it can't that big of a deal. And try to name your threads better, one exclamation mark is more than enough.

*Edited the thread title to have only 4 exclamation marks instead of about 1000*

your clonedvd 2 is up to date you need to update anydvd though the latest is 5.8.3.1 so your wayyy out of date.the reason your having problems with the movie is because the movie has Ripguard this is how anydvd should read the dvd

Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)

Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

why is your anydvd so out of date? if you BOUGHT the program you should get emails for the updates and DOT TELL ME ITS A HACKED VERISON!! i dont want to here it.

AnyDVD 5.8.2 is the latest and greatest. Could be the movies are Sony thereby they would probably have arcoss protection enabled. Allows you to decrypt everything but 1 VTS file. If you've got the latest and greatest from AnyDVD, you are golden. PM me if you need help with that. I won't be able to do anything for you until I get home tonight though.

@aabbccdd. I have all the same settings showing in my AnyDVD info screen except one......
Mine says Changed firstplay: Jump directly to TitleMenu!
Yous says Changed firstplay: Jump directly to Title 14.

How did you get it to do that. And yes, I only just bought AnyDVD today, so Im not familiar with all of its little quirks.

Thanks for any help you can shed on this for me.

I also did FP today, without any problems. Well.................. Shrink ran into an out of memory problem, but changed to Clone DVD w/ AnyDVD running in background, and it worked fine. I'm actually using an older version of Clone DVD (1.3.10.1). As long as it works, I'll keep using it. I'll upgrade when I need to.........

for flightplan

1st, used DVDFabDecrypter- version 2.9.6.8 - ripped to hard drive (FREE)

2nd, then used DVDShrink - shrunk it so it would fit on a regular sized DVD - but with shrink it will auto burn w/ Nero, so step #3 will now be done for you automatically. (FREE)

3rd, then used Nero to burn - use the burn engine of your choice - Shrink will auto burn w/ Nero or if you use CloneDVD2 to burn the disk, you still need to shrink it first so it will fit on one disk.

1,2,3,--- worked 100%, EVERYTHING

It seems that there are several people trying to backup Flight Plan, The Fog, and The Cave but are having problems with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

The problem is that those of you using AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 that are getting errors need to update your software. I understand that most people who backup DVDs do not like to pay for software but if you want a reliable software that is worth every penny then just pay the money and order the newest versions of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2.

Once you have these on your machine you should have no problem backing up most any movie.

You can use all that crap, or you can just use DVD fab and DVD Shrink, and it should work normal. Hey, worked for me.

But DVD decypter has trouble decrypting this.

Good luck
