There seems to be a myriad of different ways to back up an original DVD.
Which is the most popular method out there (or should I say, most RELIABLE) of backing up.
I like to booktype my discs to ensure that they play in almost all DVD players. Nero doesn't support booktyping in my drive, I therefore use DVD Decrypter to do the final burn.
I notice in the forums that many people use DVD2one. What are the advantages/disadvantages of differing programs? What sequence do you use?
DvdFab Decrypter is a dvd ripper just like DvdD, but it does not have the burning engine like DvdD. If you could slap 2 programs together to make an updated DvdD, it would be DvdFab Decrypter and Imgburn. Imgburn is a burning engine that burns similar to DvdD.
@angus999. if you have DVD2One go with it, its quality is close as that of shrink, its much faster than shrink and it has its own burning room, you'll not need a separete burning application if you don't want to. DVD2One will handle files from new encryptions, shrink will not.
