DVD Shrink won't run!

I downloaded and installed DVD Shrink on my laptop using Windows XP Professional but when I click on the shortcut to run DVD Shrink, it won't run. I see the hourglass for about 1 second but then nothing further happens. My daughter and her friend loaded on their laptops and it runs fine but not my laptop. What is my problem?? How can I fix?? Something must be wrong with the file you downloaded, or something must of gone wrong with the install. Delete the file you downloaded and uninstall shrink from your laptop. Click on the link and down load the dvdshrink file, unzip the folder and reinstall shrink.

Thanks for the reply. I apologize for the double post but it was unintentional - I'm new to this forum and don't know how it works. How do I delete one of the posts?? I may be looking right at it but I don't see a delete button. I have already done as you suggested and uninstalled the program, re-downloaded and reinstalled but with same results. However, I have not downloaded from the link you furnished so will try it and see if makes any difference. The file I downloaded was from afterdawn.com. Thanks, John Zobbia
