yup, the - will always be a G05 or 4 and the + will be 1,2, & 3...
ritek wise !!
got me a spool, G03... i can never pass on a good deal, i blame saugmon for that one !! lol

got the burn itch going on, ever since i bacame a member, 8 months ago !

Thanks for the feedback on the OD DVDs. I've used the -R Ritek G04 and G05s, but never the +R Riteks. May give the Ritek R03 found at OD a whirl and see how they pan out in my NEC3520...

I called and they said that had never happened. Well It happened and after inspecting the disc it actually says DVD-R. The top label said DVD-R but it was hidden. The wrap around said DVD+R. That's the one I saw. Go figure. Returning after dinner. Wanted 16X anyway, these were marked 8X on package.

@ laboy... the +'s are more user friendly, and also has the ability to be booktyped to dvd-rom, where as the - format you cant..
some stand alone players are just pickey to what they will and wont play.. you can almsot be 99% sure that a DVD+R booktyped to dvd-rom will play....

unfortunately they don't arry them down here any more, only the 16X RICOHJPN disks now.

The best buy in my town didn't have no verbs so I had to go to officemax just to price match. At the first one the girl working there didn't even want to try to price match so she tried to charge me $50 for a 2 DVD-R's. At the second officemax I had no problems pricematching.
