trouble with copy of a copy with shrink

i open shrink up and then click on open files, i then select the movie that i want to copy, and then it starts to analyze it will get to like 20-25% and an error comes up saying "shrink encountered an error and cannot continue, failed to open E: videoe_ts, data error cyclic redundancy check" this just started to happen about a week ago, when i learned that you could use shrink to do copy of a copy.

Although you can, don't use shrink to make a copy of a copy. You should be able to use any of the popular burning software programs available. Depending on what you have, I suggest using Nero or Roxio, both have CD/DVD copy apps built in.

Since the copy your trying to copy isn't encrypted, the problem your having using shrink might be due to a dirty/smudged or scratched disk (this can produce the error described), shrink isn't too forgiving if this is the case so clean the disk if it appears to be smudged in some areas. Instead of using shrink try using decrypter in file mode, it should work better.
