hi lucas, i use shrink + Nero to back up most dvds, sometimes if the going gets tough with shrink i use DVD Decrypter to rip dvd to hd and open that rip up with shrink, this has worked great for me.

Thanks for the help. Have been using 1click and copy to dvd. Worked great. Did my first dual layer and wouldn't play on regular dvd player. So I'm back to fooling around to get the right mix.
That might be your problem. Look through the adds in the paper and see if Best Buy has the Verbatim D/L on sale . They run a sale about once every 4 to 5 weeks as you can get 10 for $19.95. You can also look at Supermediastore.com, Meritline.com and get them on line if they are not too expensive and if the shipping is reasonable
Stillmthe least of my problems. Can't seem to get this DVD Shrink to work. Keeps telling me it can't find the file after I used DVD Decrypter to get it on a file. Don't know what the problem is.
