Need help with converting a Fab File to Shrink

I have a couple of backups for my children that shrink will not open, but fab will, like "Valiant". How do i reopen it When DVD FAB gets done With Dvd Shrink. Also Does anyone know where i can redownload DVD Decrypter. Thanks

OPen up DVD Shrink, us open files to get to approriate file were Fab ripped movie to. Then it should bring across all appropriate files into Shrink. Then you can reauthor or back up full.

i keep getting "Dvd Shrink has encountered an error and can not continue

Do you have Interactual Player installed on your computer? When I had this player installed on my computer, I would get the error you are encountering. Once I uninstalled the player, I no longer received the error. Another possiblity is to run the downloaded movie thorugh VOB Blanker.

First, what is Interactual Player, second, what is VOB Blanker. And Please Forgive I am Still new and learning thanks

Interactual Player is a program that is built into certain DVDs that tries to install when you put a DVD into your DVD Drive. If this program is currently installed on your computer, I would remove it. It causes a lot of problems with the programs in ripping and burning DVDs. VOB Blanker is a program that is used to delete back sectors in the DVD files. It can also get rid of things such as the FBI warning on the DVD. I have not had to use this program, yet, but do have installed on my computer for when the time arises.

how do i find and see if i have Interactual Player installed on my computer, "XP Operating", And here is the other error also
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Invalid data in file "C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\DVD\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB"
Overlapped I/O operation is in progress

To see if you have Interactual Player on your computer, I would go to your Control Panel under the Start Menu. Then go to Add/Delete Software. And scroll down to see if you have Interactual Player. If it is listed, I would recommend uninstalling. As for your other error, I am not sure. That might be something that can be corrected by VOB Blanker.

I just erased the previous files and am trying again with Fab, will let you know if it works. Also the link you gave me Says A bad URL or something, Nothing came up. So you know

Ok i ran Fab and then opened Shrink and Re Author, but i have a wholelot of things on there and 2 main movie menus to move but they are only 591Mb each And they are Title 11 and title 12 now i am really confused . this is the only movie i've had this much trouble with. Thanks. By the way the movie is "Valiant" if any of you have had better luck. again thanks Dan nOW TIME FOR A CIG. LOL

What version of DVDFab Decrypter are you using? Make sure you have the up to date version 2.9.6.8.
If your only showing titles 11 and 12 for the main movie then your files are still corrupted. I think I had to run it thru VobBlanker after DvdFab to fix the files. You can get VobBlanker from http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm
There is a guide there and the program can look a little daunting to use. Take your time read the guide first and don't worry about trying to blank anything out just process all the files to a new folder and then try shrink.
