Hello All,

I was able to buy Nero 7 for free after rebate... so I just installed it on my computer to check it out. It looks pretty funky n all.. but DVD Shrink doesn't burn directly from Nero the way it used to before... I was wondering if there was a fix for this..

And any ideas about Nero 7 in general.. It seems to kinda suck for DVD - Video Burning...

Try updating to the latest version, there were alot of bugs with the initial release which should be corrected now.

get it here:

You probably don't have the enable burn w/ Nero box ticked. Here is a pic:

I should be under Shrink's Edit>Preferences>file I/O tab.

Hey GlueEater,

I could be wrong, but I believe this option is enabled by default when the app is installed (I seem to remember that it was for me).

Thanks for your responses..

I dunno.. I'm just not too happy with Nero 7.. When I tried uninstalling it ... (I used the Nero Uninstall)... it didn't uininstall completely for some reason.. and then it started conflicting with my Nero 6. ARGH !

Too many bugs.. too bad.. they seem to have tried to add a whole lot of new features in it...

Maybe thats their problem though.. what I've always liked about Nero is its clean, simple interface and that it works efficiently as opposed to Roxio etc...
