When I try to decrypt Stealth, Oceans Eleven, and others I get in error message that states " DVD has encountered an error and cannot continue." Is there another way I can get these to shrink?
these movie were easely done with shrink and dvd region+cssfree running in the backround, the reason you might be having problems is that the movies might be dirty or your software is out of date
you maust of had it installed on your pc before or if you bought pc used the person before has had it on there. this program will by pass the copy protection on all the latest discs. the only way you can get it to install is to purchase it :-( i know it costs money but in my opinion is well worth the $39 (if you put afterdawn in the promo/discount box you will get $5 discount)
i cant remember what program i used to back up my copy of stealth but if you dont want to spen any money you could try free programs like dvd fab decrypter / DVD Decrypter and VOB blanker these may work for you. hope this helps
I download the new version of DVDFAB decrypter and it finished successful but when I use DVD Shrink, the files were to big. I unchecked all files and still big. What can I do now?
king - once you shrink it once open the files that have been made by shrink & shrink them again, this will work. (some of the latest dvds are way too big to even shrink twice, in these cases i have used AnyDVD & CLONE DVD2)
Method to burn movies such as Stealth and Madagascar etc.
1. Open DVD Decrypter - use ISO Read mode to copy disk to hard drive.
2. Open Shrink - go to Open Disk Image and select the ISO file that Decrypter has created
3. Use Re-author mode in DVD Shrink to analyse and encode movie
4. Use Nero to burn.
Easy - no problems and bypasses all protections - no blank cells and no need for additional software or other programs running in background.
king once you devrypt with decrypter or fab decrypter then shrink as normal it may give you a warning that "the files are too big to burn to disc do you wish to proceed" select yes & shrink it
once shrunk you will have the files that have been shrunk on your hard drive
so open shrink & select "open files" tab then find the files that have already been shrunk & run them through shrink again (will probably compress it about 97% just to get it to fit on a disc) then burn the files you shrunk sencond time around to disc in the normal way.
if you need any more help let me know i hope this helps
