Having a problem with DVD Shrink error message...

I'm new here but I have used DVD Shrink before and its worked great for me. But I've had trouble with a DVD when I put it in my dvd drive and load the program I get an error message that says "DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "D:\" The parameter is incorrect." Is this because the DVD might be damaged? I've tried using other programs and I get similar messages. I've also cleaned the DVD. Can someone please help me?

The disc isn't damaged, that error message is due to the copy protection on the movie. What is the title of the movie?

It is an anime DVD. Samurai X - Reflection.

hi, you can use a program called AnyDVD run it in the background & this will remove the copy protection and allow you to run it through shrink, you can get a 21 day trial download here http://www.slysoft.com/en/
this should allow you to make a back up without any problems.
