hey everyone...when i try to burn the fog and flight plan i get this thing that pops up onto the screen as i try to encode it and it says "DVD Shrink has encountered an error and connot continue, Invalid DVD navigation structure." anyone know what that means? is there anyway i can go and reset or clear something out in my computer to make it better? it did this to me before and someone on here told me to go in and reset something...ANY IDEAS??? HELP!!!
"DVD Shrink has encountered an error and connot continue, Invalid DVD navigation structure" is a copyright protection(99% sure of this). You'll need AnyDVD(21 day free trial, updated regularly from www.slysoft.com)as gjl2002 stated, or DVD43(free but not updated on a regular basis as anydvd) or DVD Region+CSS Free(I've seen this one in other forums but don't know much about). One of these will get you past the copyright protection but you'll probably still need to work another program in there (VOBBlanker was in Alkohols guide) to knock those 2 difficult bad boys out.
Before this, no problems other than learning the hard way that good quality disks do really make burning a lot less painful. Lately, I've been encountering frequent read process problems with new releases using DVD Shrink... CRC errors, navagation errors, I/O errors, etc.... Tried all kinds of other programs to decrypt (DVD Decryptor, DVDFab Decrypter, CD Check, DVD43); but still, when its time to shrink, DVD Shrink would still error out. Then, I thought I'd try a previous version of DVD Shrink (3.0 Beta 5)... and wala... no more problems... so far at least....
