Hi there! Extreme newbie here. I used DVD Shrink to shrink a movie to my hard drive. When I open the folder, there are so many files!! Which do I burn to my blank DVD? And by the way, what exactly is "Decrypting", and do I need to do it?? Thanks! -Mink
Burn the entire VIDEO_TS Folder. If using Nero (burns Folder/Files)or DVD Decryptor (Burns dick images) to burn, this process can be automated for you so that burning will begin automatically when Shrink is done.
Aha! I think I never knew you could burn an entire folder! Cool. I do have Nero, but I also have the software that came with my external DVD drive, which is more user-friendly for me. I never used Nero for a DVD, but always use it for CD-Rs. Is it the same thing or do I need a different program version? :)
To use Nero WITHOUT any user input at all:
Shrink/edit/preferences/I/O. Then check the box to enable Burning with Nero. When you do a Shrink backup you will get a popup. Choose the option to save file and burn with Nero. The burn will then start automatically and open Nero for you, when Shrink is done. This is foolproof and can't be easier than any non integrated program.
Okay. So I have tried to burn the entire folder to a blank DVD-R. It kept saying "not enough space, please remove 1309 MB from your project". So then I took out the all the previews, the features, and also the entire movie that was the fit-to-screen version. All that was left was the movie itself, and it still is saying it's too big!! Is there some way for me to shrink it even more, or something else I'm supposed to be doing? I'm really frustrated now!
