I've been trying to download dvd shrink for over a week now. I've tried to download here and various other sites. I get a small download pic in the bottom left hand side of my window then it crashes. Have tried opening in a new window but get the same result. Have been trying to convert/burn avi.s etc and have ended up downloading 20 diffrent programmes (free, I was hoping this would be the answer to my dvd probs. Please help me.
Or alternativley point me in the direction of a avi to dvd converter that I can try for free. There's no way i'm buying something that only lets me test it for 5 mins.

or try dvdshrink.org
also shrink will not convert avi files for this you can use avi2dvd which is a good (free) program you can get it here -

you can also use nero recode instead of shrink, i have not used this nor do i know if it is free, i'm sure someone can answer this for you.

another option is clonedvd2 this will shrink a dvd this is not free but you can get a 21 day trial here - http://www.slysoft.com/en/

Here is a guide that will show you how to convert your file using DivXtoDVD and Shrink. It also shows the use of DVD Decrypter to burn, but you can use whatever programs you want for that. You can also get the software at the site.

Wow, thanks for the speedy replies. Being a pc newbie (only been here for 5 yrs), i've only just found out I can right click and 'save target as', on the download button. Although i've never encountered this problem before i've only just got a new pc with xp.

I think you'll be hearing from me again soon though and hopfully soon i'll be able to help someone else for a change.

Going to download ALL the converters to be on safe side.
