trouble with dvd decrypter & dvd shrink

some times when I go to copy my movies dvd decrypter and dvd shrink say that they do not regnonize the drive it only happens once and a blue moon like on the movie the fog , how do you correct this problem,thanks everybody for your help. is there a new version to download or am i just to old to figure it out.

Your not too old to figure it out! The fog has new copy protection on it and this could be your problem. Try running AnyDVD in the background w/ shrink. 21 day free trial:http://slysoft.com
Or download dvdfab decrypter(free) - a ripper like DVD Decrypter but it's still updated whereas shrink and decrypter aren't. Rip w/ fab decrypter than process the files as usual thru shrink. You can download it here:

Try using DVDFab decrypter it's free and updated to keep pace with cracking the copy protection places on what seems to many of the new movie releases. It's a whole movie ripper so you'll still need DVDshrink to reauthor the movie ( for getting rid of the extras) and shrink the file size to fit on a DVD+/-R disk. The app is real easy to use, but here is a guide if needed...

@binkie7 you beat me to it as usual. Fart1958 listen to binkie7 it will work short and sweet. This old fart has 12 yrs on you and I'm still learning. I can back up DVDs without problems now. Hang aroud here and you'll be a pro. Just get all the tools.

Between dvdfab decrypter or AnyDVD (esp. w/ Clone) any movie can be backed up pretty easy.
