When using dvdshrink it often can't read the entire dvd
DVDShrink answers as follows
"DVD Shrink encountered an error and can't continue"
"Invalid DVD navigation structure"

It happens with more and more dvd's, mostly the more recent ones
Has the moviestudio finally found a solution to stop us guys, i hope not!?!

Does anyone knows what this means and how can i stop it?

Thanks

you need to use 3 peices of software.
1st save movie to hard drive using latest version of fab dvd
2nd use VOB blanker,to process movie you have saved
3rd u will then be able to run movie thru shrink
there r some excellent guides on site if u get stuck

DVDshrink is producing this error because of copy protection on the disk that it can't handle. Download, install, and use a free ripper called DVDFab decrypter. DVDFab is a whole movie ripper that is updated to handle/crack the new copy protection placed on the DVDs. Once DVDFab is done with the rip you can then use DVDshrink to open the files created by DVDFab (choose open files in shrink and highlight the VIDEO_TS files created, click ok). At this point you can use shrink as you normally would, I suggest you re-author the movie to back just the main movie and remove the extras since the problem areas are usually there.

get DVDFab here:

here's a guide on how to re-author:
