well new to dvd shrink but tryed to use on a disc im having a hard time with..everything i use tells me cyclic redudacy check or just stops reading any ideas what will help thanks hitsquad

Clean the disk real well. D/L AnyDVD ( free 21 day trial offer) If it fails again then it usually is a bad press so you have to take it back for an exchange

THANKS FOR THE REPLY I JUST SEEM TO HAVE PROBLEMS OUT OF ADULT MOVIES I HAVE ONE NOW THAT MY DRIVE WILL NOT EVEN DETECT THE MOVIE AND I CANT PLAY IT THRU MEDIA PLAYER ANY REASON WHY JUST ADULT MOVIES..THANKS HITSQUAD

Most skin flicks don't have any encryption. Unless you get into the awesome stuff produced by wicked pictures.
If you get crc errors on those f*ck flicks,then probably damaged or bum discs.
Is there any visible defects on those discs like:
Scratches?
Dirt?
Fingerprints?
Break out the rubber gloves and tongs!
What's the names of those discs that give you those errors? Maybe I have a few of them, LOL

THESE MOVIES ARE PUT OUT BY WICKED AND VIVID THE NAMES ARE ANGEL AND ALEXANDERA..ANGEL WANT EVEN START TO BE RECONISED IN MY ROM WHATS UP WITH THAT ANY IDEAS ..THANKS HITSQUAD

Do you have any DVD movies that are recog. by the HD or is it just the porn movies. If it is all movies see in device manager if there are any yellow flags. If so then uninstall that device and re-boot and then let windows re-install properly. You might also try cleaning the DVD Burner's lens. Could be lent that is stopping the leadin from being read properly

well it seems to be just this one movie called angel put out by vivid dvd ive tryed 2 new movies and neither will read or open up with any player i have ..any ideas ..

If your players won't even play them,then probably bum discs. I've encountered a few of them on some of my Wicked pictures. Both look perfect,but all my drives can't play the entire discs. I need to take them and get them resurfaced and maybe I'll be able to rip them.
I've got another one that is bad. Looking at the bottom side of disc,there are a couple of blue dots,in between the layers. Possible breakdown? This disc has no scratches or any other flaw besides those 2 blue blots.

Another possibility, just to throw out options, is a burner that is wearing out. My old burner had trouble identifying discs the last few days before I took it out to pasture and had it shot.

WELL I TRIED IT IN 4 DIFFERENT BURNERS AND NONE OF THEM OPENED IT ..WHATS THE ODDS IN GETTING TWO BAD DISC OF THE SAME MOVIE..
