my question is how to add menus to the dvd while using dvd shrink re-author.....i get the files i use by using DVD Fabdecrypter can anyone help me out with my problem????

Shrink in reauthor will not give you a functional menu. You need to use the full disc option. To try and keep compression low w/ this option you can make the extras/special features still images.
Or you can try CloneDVD (free for 21 days to try it) and preserve the menus with the movie only.

I want to create my own menus, what free software does thta.

I have backed up my movies and I want to make 3in1 movie disks by using shrink re-author but I dont want to have to fastfoward to get to another movie, how do I create menu options that I can select to move to diferent films on the disk.
