Trouble with DVD shrink & Nero 6.6.1.4

I just updated ny Nero with the latest version from their website, 6.6.1.4. When I try to run DVD Shrink the program stops at the point where it should burn the DVD. It displays a lengthy error message. The problem goes away if I use my old version of nero. Does anybody have any ideas as to what is going on, or has anyone else had the problem?

When People are updating they are having your problem as that problem is going around other forums also. The advice given is to keep the older version and dump the update. Glad you kept the old version.

I just updated today my Nero and I got the same error when trying to burn with Shrink, exaclty like you. I was able however to load the files in Nero vision express or whatever...and have a good burn.
Remove your serial number from the log:
1A21....

Hey guys,
It seems that the recent version of nero (6.6.1.4) and shrink don't want to play together anylonger (atleast for now), but you shouldn't let that stop you from using the most current version since it contains fixes/enhancements that allow the software to perform better. Instead of autoburning with shrink, just burn the files to disk manually using nero, it's not very hard to do (I do it this way all the time). Have shrink create a hard disk file folder on your hard drive, you can then burn the files to DVD using nero's DVD-Video application found in nero's burning rom. Here's a guide if you're interested:

There's always having shrink create an ISO image that you can auto burn with dvd decrypter.

We are looking into that error to see if there's a way of fixing it. It's just a bug, by the look of it...

The only thing I found in DVD Shrink was the option not to use Nero.

This is an internal device.
